It is sunny here, thinking of all of you that are dealing with some cold weather and ice. Stay warm and eat soup! Have had great OP weekend with DH out of town for tennis. Roast is going in the crockpot. Church, walk and football are the plans for today!

Good morning Linda and AWF
20 out but sunny, at least at the moment. Nothing much planned for the day. I know what I SHOULD do 🙄 But probably won't 😜 Don't feel like leaving the house although nothing in the freezer or pantry is appealing to me & I should go shopping.
Have a good one. BBL.

Morning Linda, Sullicat1 and AWF... Chilly here but staying in the 40's, 50's all week. Still looking for my energy to return, lots of cinderella chores to do.
Yesterday I had a badcase of "I don't want to do THIS anymore" (track, watch what I eat, be mindful). We went out to dinner and I ordered "Eggplant Parmesan" because I wanted it! It was delicious! And I was pleasantly surprised that a full serving is 16 SP (I was thinking over 30 and didn't look it up until after I ate it! LOL) That "splurge" made me feel a bit 'normal' again.

Good morning. It is still dark here so I don't know whether it will be sunny or not. The weather service says it is supposed to be sunny, with a high of 17. That is above zero, not below as it has been for the last couple weeks.
I went to church last evening, so today is my own. Not sure what I'm going to do with it yet. Nothing special, just things around the house that I've been neglecting. However, as a Sunday "treat" I'm going to have a hot cup of coffee with an additive of Kahlua and cream. Hope all of you have a sunny day.

pbnj I was so unhappy my first year at goal, "Do I really have to do this the rest of my life, etc?" Something that really registered with me from another maintainer, (who is still my mentor for *how I'd like to be*) asked me, "Do I brush my teeth and wash my face every day?" When it becomes something we just do, it is so much easier.

Good morning everyone.
It's 44° outside but we are promised a clear day with some sunshine. (Why does 44 remind me of BINGO?) The next storm arrives Tuesday night, so got to enjoy the dry days before it hits.
I'm drinking coffee and eating my blueberry-bran muffin, and I will soon start watching the morning news, or as I like to call it "The morning death & destruction report."

<putting on my leggings, scarf, & hat and heading for CherryT's for coffee...>
I'm IN.
We have groceries and mall on our Sunday list. I do not have tomorrow off and the shopping requires my presence (can't CinderFella it off on Toots tomorrow). But besides that, it will be Sunday Steak Dinner and playoff football and RELAXING.
Have a healthy-eating day, all!

zazzles how are the streets and hills holding up with all that rain? I remember the dreaded mud slides when it would get like this, what a mess those were.

Good morning! Kahlua with my morning coffee? Well, I've not tried that before but cherryt38 serve us up a round! I have had a "French Coffee" at a restaurant that was yummy. Coffee, 1/2 oz. Kahula, 1 oz. Grand Marnier (or Cointreau. These are orange flavored liqueurs) Top this with a dollop of whipped cream. Oh my, delicious! Ok, back to reality. I'm off to get my almond milk and berries. Make it a great day!

Good Sunday to All! A slightly warmer and brighter day out there today. Will head out for a walk in a little bit. Skipped major walking today as I was busy in the house with decluttering the normal mess I make.
Laundry going. Coffee and breakfast checked off. So nice to have power this morning.
Heading to see Hidden Figures this afternoon.
Enjoy your day!

zazzles how are the streets and hills holding up with all that rain? I remember the dreaded mud slides when it would get like this, what a mess those were. There have been lots of slide and fallen trees in mountain areas (like the Santa Cruz mountains—Hwy. 17 between Silicon Valley and the coast), and lots of flooding in areas in the north bay near major rivers. There hasn't been much other than trees falling in the valley itself. There was major flooding in the Gilroy/Hollister area (south of San Jose) and Hollister was put on a total water restriction this week because of fears of well water contamination.
Perhaps the biggest impact has been from traffic accidents due to the idiots who simply won't slow down and/or stop tailgating no matter what the condition or situation. It amazes me how many drivers around here seem to think they can pass the entire world, one car at a time, and are willing to die trying. Sadly, the often take innocent people with them.
I guess the thing that speaks best to the situation is the fact that the drought in the Bay Area has been officially declared to have ended!

Oh man I remember how crazy those idiot drivers were after it rained. Oil and water people, duh slow down 🙄
So glad the drought has ended, that is so fabulous!

Good morning everyone. Linda,Yeah on the OP weekend.Enjoy your walk. Pat,I think sometime we need a splurge or something different to shake things up.Then we can get it out of our system and go back to tracking and being mindful. Kathy,Enjoy your church service and anything else you have planned. Is the knee still doing good after your injection? That's a great way of looking at maintenance which is something I now need to learn.Especially not in the losing department now. Cherry,17 still sounds cold to me but at least it's not -38 there today. It probably feels like you are having a heat wave. zazzles,I think we are getting your storm. At least that's what the weather guessers are predicting tonight thru Tuesday. However it looks like the sun is out now so who knows.I am glad the drought is over. MJ,Enjoy your relaxing day and Sunday dinner. linda72,I would need more than almond milk and berries.LOL. Beth,Enjoy your day and the movie. Church,Walmart, eating out(maybe)and some kind of exercise planned for today. Everyone enjoy their Sunday.
