Hey, All. Just caught up on the news of the day.
It was not one flight of 40 hours but 3 flights and going through customs and security several times. No chance to lie down or shower but hewas not on a plane for 40 hours straight.
Judy, I thought you might have gone to the Cape for the long weekend. Sounds like a nice visit with DS and lots of social opportunities.
Sue, I hope you made it safely to the store.
Carol, the sunset looked great upside down and now right side up. I hope you got your TV fixed.
Art, that's a lot of steps.
Carolyn, oh, no on the ice and the furnace. I am glad DH got it to work again twice. You are a braver woman than I driving on the ice. That's one of the reasons I have a home gum in the basement.
Kathryn, good luck to DH tomorrow.
Iggy is fighting going to sleep early. It is warm enough to go for a stroll and I hope the activity keeps him awake for a few more hours.
Have a nice evening.

Wow Art, that's a lot of steps!
Nice to catch up with everyone again...Jeremy DID sell the car (yay!) and I thought I'd be having to drive to Peabody to collect him, but sadly, it will involve another trip. So, since I was waiting for the call, I actually got things done instead of goofing off. I thought I'd get another Sherlock watched, but think I'm going to dive into an online Mindful Eating class I signed up for a while back; I'm sure it will do me good!
Carolyn, I didn't make it through the first season of Poldark, a little too bodice ripping for me, I think. I can tell Sherlock is going to be a bit twisty, so I need to watch it in the afternoon/early evening. You stay warm, so impressed with DH's ability!
And I went to look for This Is Us, but I can't play it without disabling my ad blocker, LOL, which just sounded like too much trouble! But, the first episode was free on iTunes, so it's downloaded and I won't forget about it.
Ah Chele, you give me so much credit. I was trying to work with light weights on my own when we got to Salem, but could tell I just wasn't being consistent, so joined the Y. Now, that I am trying to be more frugal (π€), at least for a while, I have to up my game. And when I was packing things up, I found a set of resistance bands I had never opened. Ayuh. But, I needed to be consistent with some shoulder exercises right now, and ended up using one of those resistance things with the handles on the end. Since besides the $$, I'm whining about too much to do, I know exercise at home is a good idea.
I did try a new yoga series...I like this teacher, YogawithAdriene.com, and she has a beginner series, too. Since I can't imagine being able to get too tricky ever, I tried one of them, and maybe it will be the ticket.
I just can't imagine those trips that Iggy takes, so glad he is *in recovery*....I am a wimp with a 6 hour non-stop flight.
And Kathryn, will be thinking about DH tomorrow; keep us posted, please. We are going to Lubbock to see J's grandmother, and I have him talked into President's Day week, when he is off...I thought this way we could miss the heat and the storms...sounds like maybe not!
Sue, if we stay in the NE, I don't think we'll ever have space because it's so expensive, LOL, so I feel pretty committed to getting rid of more stuff...if we only had what is upstairs in the apt, I would think we were great, but oh my, so much in the basement. There is a consignment furniture/gift/etc store in our town and I'm going to go check it out and see what kind of stuff they have. There is absolutely nothing wrong with some of this stuff, very little junk here! I hope you'll keep taking it easy and will keep sending the good juju.
Carol, I'm just going to tell you, if Kathryn says she struggles every now and then, then good luck, Oprah! She is losing really slowly, which I did, but mine also included lots of back-sliding; if that works for her, good, but most of us feel a bit more pressure. I know she seems to be focused on her health and that's great, but I gained 15 pounds once and 10 pounds another time in this final losing journey, and for most of us, that's a slippery slope.
Okay, J is on his way home, need to get a bit more done. MaΓ±ana!

Waving to Judy....you sure packed a lot into your weekend!, impressed!
You know I am prejudiced about Brady, but he is very unique; as a kid he was so sensitive and I worried a lot about him, but he managed to keep that sensitivity and find a more *mainstream* version. He was so funny talking about how hard it was going to be going back to work after having this year to *massage his brain*....π
