This thread was started before the dawn of time by Amazons who needed to compare their stats with other Amazons. Over time it grew into a community of incredible women who try to keep their spirits in the clouds and their feet on the ground, moving toward health. Most of us start at 5'7 and go up from there, from young singles to wise and lively elders of the tribe. We welcome newcomers who are willing to be kind and share a bit of their lives.

Good morning CATs! Seems I've been away from here for the longest time. Catching up on everyone's news and it seems we're all keeping busy, busy, busy!
It's supposed to be warm and sunny today. I'm hoping my co-worker and I can sneak out for a walk outdoors later this morning. It's WW at Work today at 11am and I'm sure the scale will not be pleased with my lack of efforts this past week. It's too hard to behave when one is under the weather. Not sure if my cold is getting any better or maybe it's just not getting enough sleep and naps throughout the day. In any case, I feel lousy today and hope to survive the work day...thinking that closing my door for much of it will help.
Sorry for the lack of personals...I'm still thinking of you all! Sending warm wishes and many hugs!!!

Great to see you, Andrea! I hope you feel better soon; so much crap going around. Everything here is coated with ice; beautiful to the eye, but so treacherous. Thankfully, the road crews did a great job with treating the major thoroughfares. I fell asleep last night, knowing I was only steps from meeting my goal, but fatigue won out. The Three really wore me out. Three is teething with a vengeance, so needed extra snuggles, not happy with being put down. The Bash Bros. made a brief appearance, but settled into being really good for me. I posted a pic of Three with his baby curls cut off. DD got tired of people thinking he was a little girl. B1G helped me chop salad yesterday, and clean celery. I need to hard cook some eggs today, and my fridge will again be a friendly place to be. Thrilled with being given extra hours at the boutique this week. Thanks for the props, girls. This little gig is just what I needed, even if it is just one day a week. Like Linda and the rest of the sorority, my prayers will remain directed to you, Frieda. Stand tall. You will prevail. Hoping rehearsals smooth out, PKate! Linda, your feathery menagerie is fascinating. I hope those pheasants adapt. Will check back...

Andrea, good to see you, and Karla, too. Sorry you are also battling Humphrey; he is such a tenacious sucker of life.
I don't have a lot to report: I'm in a loop of work, meetings, and rehearsals until tomorrow. Need to prep a workshop that I am teaching in Baltimore and get myself ready to travel. I'm not getting in as many miles as I would like this week, but I am going to keep working on it. I know I will rack some up on Saturday. Okay, off to the PPT mines ....

Just stopped by to see who was up and about. It's been quiet today. Hoping it continues throughout the night. Another day without the TM. I continue to wish. Thanks for the support. I need it these two weeks. Frieda

Dearest Frieda, reach out to us whenever you need. Text, call, whatever helps you in times of challenge. We are encirling you with love and support. Imagine us holding you up with loving arms of sisterhood.
Today was one of those days that made me happy for what I do. Small triumphs for the DStus.
I have theater tickets tomorrow night, so I'm looking forward to a killer day followed by date night.
Andrea! So good to hear from you. Keep it coming. PKate, I am so glad to see you here. My FB chasing is minimized these days.
