NO EXCUSES
* This is a daily thread for those who want to live by the philosophy that you CAN be ON PLAN EVERY DAY, whether you are doing SFT or counting points for ALL foods! * You aren't doing this to brag; you are doing it for YOU! Because YOU are WORTH IT and because WW has made this totally DOABLE! * WW gives you a lot of freedom and a LOT of options that make it quite possible to live this lifestyle EVERY DAY. * You know that this philosophy keeps you on the straight and narrow. If you give yourself an excuse to go off plan today, there will ALWAYS be another excuse tomorrow. * SO, there are NO EXCUSES!!! * This is your LIFESTYLE and it is a lifestyle you enjoy and you live it daily. * Hopefully your participation here will not only inspire YOU but will inspire OTHERS too! YES, you CAN be ON PROGRAM EVERY DAY.

20. If you have frequent headaches, look at what you eat. Foods and beverages may play a role in some headaches, especially migraines. Most of the suspects, such as chocolate, ripe cheeses, and freshly baked yeast products, contain a naturally occurring chemical called tyramine, which may constrict or dilate blood vessels in the brain.
Comments? Do you get headaches? Have you tied them to anything?

Headaches - I started having the aura of a migraine when we were living in Saudi Arabia - vision went wonky, had scotomas and fuzzy vision like old fashioned TV needing to be tuned in. I saw a doctor thinking detached retina (not) and in the USA found out it was probably familial and part of a migraine that only really was full blown once or twice. I have never found anything that triggers them though sometimes changes in weather can give me a regular headache. Bob: My husband has much less sense of how long things can stay out and still be safe wanting to ave electricity and not put things in the frig hot. I have never had cranberry juice in hot apple cider - bet it would be tasty! Cindy: Mom used to leave cooked hamburgers out in the skillet for dad...for hours or overnight. We all nibbled on them as we walked by. My sister says she was the only person who did not get Montezuma's revenge in Mexico and she is sure it was the germs we ate that built up her immunity

I have a diagnosis of migraines and use prescription meds when needed. Since menopause I get far fewer but did use my meds recently, effectively, but had another one Thursday. It wasn't so bad and I waited - tried coffee, foods, but it was still there lurking, but not worsening. I think it was related to weather change. We've been all over, up & down, and it was a miserable damp day. No meds and it did go away. I'm not sure about triggers. If you look at the lists of foods, they're all the foods I love. It is in my family and I've had them forever. I really never know when or why they come.

I've been fortunate to never have had a migraine. Mom used to get them. I don't get headaches that often. When I do, the first thing I do is to hydrate!

Lucky here too. Rare headaches and not migraines.
Uh chocolate sadly does not cause headaches in me.
