Hello Everyone wwlurker - I feel for you having to have tempting food in the house for the rest of the family, that is difficult. leesa - Congratulations on the 60 pound loss!! Good for you not "eating" your feelings. I hope you see that "1" soon. sunrose - I hope you can get to see the "1" on the scale soon too. I agree with you that it's hard to focus sometimes. This journey sure does take a lot of work. Sometimes I wish I didn't have a food addiction, because I really believe that is what I have. I use food for pleasure, and to deal with emotions, etc. I know I'll have to deal with this forever, because I don't really think I can ever see food as just fuel for my body. I've spent the past two days overeating, which made me feel miserable. I didn't even enjoy some of the food - and that's just crazy. It's like I'm overeating to punish myself. That's something I really need some time to think about and figure out why I'm doing that to myself. I told myself this morning that success today was all up to me. So far I've stayed on track and I'm only eating the food I planned for. I hope that I'll be able to continue that tomorrow and stay back on plan. Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend

Just checking in for the day. I've been able to stay on track today too, hopefully won't have any problems tonight. I'm kind of dreading weigh-in tomorrow morning, but I know there's no point in missing it and trying to fool myself about a gain, if I have one. I just need to stay on track and move forward. Hope everyone else is doing well on their plans

Good morning
cj59, WTG having the on track day yesterday/Sunday and saying to yourself that success is up to you. So true. I need to work on that.
Waving to all
I went to my WW meeting and stayed the same after two weeks of not so great eating (they were closed Easter Sunday). I was happy with that. Today I have planned my food in my WW app and will stick to it. I also will not have wine tonight which is my downfall because then I eat.
I hope everyone is doing good.

Hello Everyone sunrose - Congratulations on staying the same after not great eating - that is a success. I still do old fashioned pen and paper tracking, but the apps they have these days really are neat and I'm sure helpful. I weighed-in today and stayed the same this week. I was really happy and surprised. After those 2 days of really bad overeating, I was sure I would have gained weight and I was scared it would set me off to overeat. So seeing no gain really motivated me to stay on track and I've had a good day. Hopefully I can continue to stay on track this week. Hope everyone else is doing well on their plans

Hi everyone! I'm plugging along. Right now I'm trying to ease my way back in. I'm tracking, trying to avoid overeating and going back to some of my old substitutes - I need to kick the "free for all" habit that I've been in lately. cj59 and @sunrose - WTG on the STS! Sometimes, that's a victory in itself. Hope everyone has a great day!

Hello Everyone wwlurker - I'm glad to hear your doing well getting back on track. It's very easy to slip into that free for all mode, so I wish you the best kicking it. I'm doing pretty well today. I did allow myself some extra calories, but made sure to get all my other healthy foods in, along with my water and exercise - so hopefully it won't affect me overall for the week. Hope everyone else is doing well today.

Good morning! cj59 - sometimes we need a little extra but good for you for continuing to make sure that you get the good stuff in. Sometimes I think that's one of the best strategies - crowding out the unhealthy food so that there just is less or no room for it. I'm checking in for accountability today. I've been doing fairly well overall. Today is going to be a challenge, as we have an event which will involve appetizers and alcohol. I have planned to have 2 drinks and 8 points worth of appetizers. Now I just need to stick with my plan. Hope everyone has a great day!

Hello Everyone wwlurker - I do make it a "rule" that I must have 2 servings of fruits and two servings of vegetables every day. I also make sure to get 2-3 dairy servings. Sticking to these rules have helped me and you're right that they do fill you up. I'm glad to hear that you are doing well and I hope that you can manage well with your challenge today. All we can do is try I'm doing pretty well today and feeling strong and on track. It felt good yesterday to have some extra "treat" calories and I'll have some today too but then I need to cut them back for the ret of the week. I was really good about doing this while I was losing weight, but then somehow I got out of whack once I reached my goal. I'm trying to find the balance again of allowing treats so I don't have binge days. Hope everyone else is doing well on their plans.

Good morning everyone!
I did not stick to my plan. I am disappointed but trying to jump right back into what I've been doing.
I have 2 more days left in my week and then I reset. But, I have a couple of challenges on my first day of the week. I have a child's birthday party and a dinner party on the same day.
My plan is to avoid alcohol at the dinner party and to work some cake and a piece of pizza into my day for the b day party. I don't want to blow my weeklies on the first day of the week.
Hope everyone has a great, OP day!

Good morning
cj59, WTG staying the same. You always have a good plan in place.
wwlurker, I hope you have fun at the birthday party. It's hard when two things fall on the same day. avoiding the alcohol is a good idea.

Had a followup doctor appointment yesterday from my colonoscopy test. The test was good, but then I got the weight lecture. I told her I am doing WW and she said that was good. I need to get more fiber in. So cj59, I need to follow what you do with the f/v. I use to be so good about that, but I hardly get either one in on a daily basis any more.

Hello Everyone wwlurker - I think it's a great ideal to plan ahead what you can eat at the party, hopefully that will help you stay on track. sunrose - I'm glad to hear your test was good. I think eating enough fiber probably does help me to feel satisfied and I fortunately haven't had any health issues. I'm so used to looking at the fiber on things I buy at the store now. Hopefully you can find some higher fiber foods to add to your diet. I went out to lunch today and didn't know where it would be in advance so no choice to check out calories. I didn't pick the "best" thing on the menu but I don't think it was the worst though. I picked a salad with crispy chicken tenders and honey mustard dressing. When I came home I checked out the nutrition on their website and it was 1020 calories, 66 grams of fat ( ) and 6 grams of fiber. It came out to 25 points for me!!!! I'm not going to worry about it though since I've eaten well the rest of the day and still got in fruits, vegetables, water, and all my exercise. I think it's important to live my life and this is a restaurant I rarely go to, so I'm glad I had a good meal that I enjoyed. Hope everyone else is doing well on their plans.

sunrose49, I'm sorry you got the weight lecture. I've not gotten that yet, but I'm sure it's coming! cj59 - that's a scary amount for a salad. But good for you for enjoying and not freaking out over it. Yesterday didn't go so well. I came home to no supper and overate instead of making myself something reasonable. I also found out yesterday that I'm having company this weekend. So that's another challenge on top of the ones I mentioned the other day. And today I realized that what I thought was a 2 day business trip next week is actually 4 days. I'm not looking forward to being away that long. Today I'm just going to try to do the best I can in the circumstances, since I have unexpected company. Hope everyone has a great, OP day!

Good morning
cj59, good for you enjoying your salad. I look back on my WW years and so many things I worried over instead of just enjoying.
wwlurker, gee sorry you will have to be away longer. Good luck with company coming.
Waving to all
I am off to the store to get veggies and fruit. I need to pay attention to things with more fiber in them. I did get a list of v/f from the doctor so that helps.
Still working the steps and water

Hello Everyone wwlurker - That's a lot of unexpected stress you have going on this weekend and next week. I hope you can find some ways to help you get through the challenges. Hang in there sunrose - Hope you found some good fruits and vegetables to eat and add fiber to your diet I'm doing well today. I've planned out my food so hopefully I can stay on track. I started the day thinking I was going to bake something since I have 2 eggs to use that are getting ready to expire. But then I decided that it wasn't worth all the extra calories that would add, so I didn't make anything. Instead I treated myself to my version of a McDonald's Mocha Frappe. It was only 4 (classic) points for me and was delicious!!! I have to remember to have these more often. I also made my own version of Ambrosia (also 4 classic points) and it's a treat for me too. Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Good morning
cj59, good for you making two point friendly things. WTG planning out your food.
wwlurker, hope the weekend is fun for you and your family.

The sun is out today so I will get outside before it gets too warm. I tried to do a little yard work yesterday, but the pollen is pretty strong right now. Maybe the rain tomorrow will take care of that.
I hope everyone has a great weekend.
