This thread was started before the dawn of time by Amazons who needed to compare their stats with other Amazons. Over time it grew into a community of incredible women who try to keep their spirits in the clouds and their feet on the ground, moving toward health. Most of us start at 5'7 and go up from there, from young singles to wise and lively elders of the tribe. We welcome newcomers who are willing to be kind and share a bit of their lives.

If I were speaking aloud, all you would hear is a mumble. Not really awake yet. Shari, it's always good to hear from you, especially with a newsy update on transitions. What are DS's plans? Will he get his own place near work? Linda, I am impressed by your FORT-itude. (I hear groans from the peanut gallery.)
I did better at dinner last night but I still don't have my "no" muscle firmly flexed yet. I ended up using more points for the day than will buy me success.
I have prepped a chicken for DH to set in the crock pot when he gets home in the early afternoon. I'm hoping this buys me time and energy for a bit of a workout before my usual evening collapse. Yesterday I managed to do a video workout in the morning. Let's keep this two day trend rockin'!
Good luck with your own transition to real life, Susan. I will try to pop in later to read others' posts and get a shot of determination.

Good morning, sweet T. Sounds to me like you have Monday by the throat. Shari, saying good-by is the hardest part of a move, yes? Linda, my Fitbit was working well yesterday...while I slept part of the afternoon away! Great job on walking in spite of it all. I have a few small chores around here before heading over to work. Very happy the bad weather heading our way won't hit until tomorrow. Make it the best Monday possible, girls.

Good morning T and Nancy and the CATs to follow!
Once again I'm here to wave hello and run off. Between busy season, puppy potty breaks in the night and this dang lingering head cold, it's all I can do to try and stay above water here at work. The scale shows my lack of tracking and work outs. I must get my life organized and soon.
Thinking of you all! Here's to a productive, happy and healthy Monday!!

GM CaTs -
Andrea - I think my cold is FINALLY breaking - after two full weeks. Looking forward to seeing more puppy posts.
Glad Nancy had a good weekend. Get well wishes for DMil.
Susan - sorry you got caught up in Delta's crud. At least it was on the way home and not the other way around.
Sorry to hear you lost a good co-worker, Anne. Do the powers above see the destruction the other causes? Can they do anything to get rid of them?
T - Thanks for getting the thread started every day. Even though I am not finding time to post I do always back-read to keep up with everyone.
Shari - Leaving will be hard, but once you get settled it will be great! Will DH be changing careers? Have you looked at homes yet?
Sending hugs to Freida.
Martha - have you heard anything after your resume was pushed up the line?
Boo for dead fitbit, Linda. You know you got the steps, though.
Must move on; in the final planning for an Exercise in our Emergency Operations Center on Friday.

G'morning (at least in my world)~
Went to ww mtg, faced the scale and stayed for the meeting. Scale was up 1#. I stayed for the newbie intro session. The topic for the week was good. It hit the nail on the head for what is my biggest issue - not putting fork down, just shoveling it in. I put a little sign right in front of my plate that said put the fork down. So far, so good. Thought I wouldn't be able to get a walk in but it finally let up enough to let me walk to/from library without getting wet. Yay!
No response yet on progress of resume. Just checked website, it appears that I'm still in the running.
Menus for the weekend: Vegetarian Mexican Polenta Pie, Herbed Chicken Thighs with Roasted Potatoes. Both were from WW cookbooks. Tonight dinner will be Superbowl Manicotti Enchiladas. Found recipe in paper years ago. This time I'm using crumbles instead of hamburger in it.
There was a women's march here in downtown. I stayed away as it seems the people don't know how to be respectful/orderly.
Slept in too much yesterday. Went to bed around usual time but couldn't get brain to shut off. Started off today with happy light, will work on the exercise portion between scullery duties.
Time to get cracking! Hugs & Love to all

So good to hear from all of you. And Martha, I have trouble with the space bar working when I eat. It seems to me like a task to be completed and I have the urge to do it with the same efficiency I do all my tasks.
I am glad you are being considered for the job. I will pray you are looked upon with favor.
Speaking of my prayer promises, I'm hoping Sister F is having good days for a spell.
The, I appreciate you are able to start the thread in whatever state of coherencey. How are the Dstus doing and are you getting more classroom time instead of administrative.?
Karla, I was happy to see your post. We miss you when you aren't able to get here. That cold is something to get over. It has really knocked DH for a loop.
Andrea, I'm impressed at your mileage considering you were sick throughout. But you must different from some of us who don't feel well and grasp at the excuse for a day of rest.
Nancy, I love how you sound at the mention of going to work. You reflect the happy anticipation I used to feel at an impending day off when I was employed. And I love that I share your forecast. You talk of the weather for tomorrow and it's got me covered too. Can you viewed how big our little charges are getting? My lite HD started talking this weekend. Like nothing Friday and now has conversational English going strong.
DB seems to be sick tonight. He works in housekeeping in a nursing home up town and they too are on lock down for the illnesses. They confine the residents to their rooms. I can imagine that would be very hard on people who have a tenuous hold on reality and then have the added burden of sensory deprivation.
My yoga class cancelled for lack of enrollment. I think they need a better marketing program. The classes are great, but no one hears of them. My DD opined of only

I thought I'd lost it. Thank goodness it posted prematurely.
My DD opined I only learned of the classes from reading the catalogue, which she is sure was meant for someone else.
She got called for jury duty. She is the administrator of a surgery group, and hardly has time to come home and sleep, so hardly has time to be away for jury duty. Help from attorney types is welcome, but can she get out of it by being indispensable at her work (which is of course one step more important than the doctors she enables to save lives)
