Today is here, awaiting us to give it meaning and purpose. What will your day be?
WHat can you do today to become healthier, lose weight, or maintain your weight loss? How will you accomplish it?
Tracking? IF not, then what small measurable step can you take?

Good morning-- in adavance. Will CBL before late afternoon..
Today: will be busy in the morning w/ some school work. Will sketch out a game plan.
How: I know what dinner will be, and so will work backwards form that. For GHGs & SPs. Since dinner is spaghetti w/ meat sauce, roasted eggplant w/ mozzarella, & salad, lunch may be shrimp & broccoli/carrots sautéed in olive oil/garlic, breakfast might be cottage cheese & grapefruit. Or boiled eggs w/ fruit. We'll see. Will need to calculate the SPs, but snacks could be some combinations of pulled form following: Gk yogurt sf hot choclate, almonds, pineapple, hummus & vegetables.

Hi June and all who follow
My dinner will be Skinnytaste sheet pan greek chicken with lemon, thinly sliced potato, fresh oregano and feta from the Fast and Slow Cookbook. She may use thighs but I will use chicken breast. I've made the recipe once before and we really liked it. I know my breakfast so I can begin pre tracking tonight and then figure out lunch and snacks. Yesterday I couldn't find my Fitbit. It was taking a ride in the washer and dryer and came out still working saying I climbed 6 floors. I wouldn't recommend it as a way to get in steps. I just have one errand to a nearby jeweler who is supposedly repairing three things for me. I need to bring him a chain that lost its clasp but want to make sure the other three repairs will be done soon. I have a medical appointment before noon and the rest of the day may be me time to read etc. I am tracking daily, and the reduced caffeine has only made me sleepy in the afternoon. The rain storms should be over for a while so I have no excuses to prevent me from walking daily. I hope we all have a good day.

Good morning ladies. Love to see plans so early. Sounds like a busy morning at work June. LOL on the Fitbit Audrey. Good luck with the doctor. Those sheet pan recipes look so delicious and easy. The nor'easter was bad but not as bad as it could have been. We did not lose power. I did lose more thatch from the tiki bar. I'm waiting until spring to replace that. It's still quite breezy and drizzly. I am planned and tracked. I got this huge beautiful hothouse tomato that smells like a real tomato. I'll be stuffing that will tuna salad for lunch.

Good morning June Audrey Susi and AWF. Great plans for your meals, ladies. June I hope that your work day goes well for you and that mom and dad are doing better. ((hugs)) Audrey good luck at the doctors. Audrey I've made that recipe before and use breasts. Not fond of the legs and it came out great! Enjoy. Good luck at the doctors today. Susi we got sleet and that was about it. I could hear it hitting the windows. Happy it wasn't a lof of snow. Tonight's supper will be turkey sandwiches and a salad. I'll do nothing that involves a lot of pots pans and dishes until the dishwasher gets here. Hope all who follow have a pleasant day. I may go with Carl as he gets the sticker for the car and Luigi's license renewed at our town hall and then stop at Ocean State Job Lots to just poke around. It's on the idea of a WalMart but they carry different things.

June, I hope your mom continues to improve and that both your mom and dad are doing better. There are two sheet pan recipes I've used from the yummybites.com site, fajitas and an Asian recipe both recommended by Laura281. Once you try them you will see how easy it is especially if you do your cooking on nonstick foil and have few pots and pans to clean. Susi, it has been several months since I smelled a real tomato. Enjoy your lunch. Ann, being without a dishwasher is almost as bad as not having a washing machine. I hope yours comes soon. La Donna, congrats on your OP day. I hope you have time to relax during your busy days. My Fitbit has died What is strange is it continued to count steps after I removed it from the washer.

DW is coming on Friday. Can't wait!!!! It's the little things when taken from you that you miss the most! I'll have a different 'relationship' with this one when it gets here LOL.
LaDonna I haven't been getting in my 10,000 steps. I've come close, but no cigar. Maybe today.
Bummer on your fitbit that died, Audrey. I can't tell you how many times I've 'washed' mine. Now I have an older version of a garmin device that I wear on my wrist. Love it!
Wishing all a great day. Just finished breakfast and will complete my journal when I get offline!

I don’t blame you Ann. Since I live alone, I do a lot of paper plates. Glad your new one is coming soon! LaDonna – Being OP is a good thing! Audrey – Sorry your Fitbit ended up dying. The tomato wasn’t as good as straight from the garden but it had more flavor than I had hoped for at this time of year. You keep working it Pam!

Today was supposed to be a new start and I started by tracking. But then I totally fell off the wagon. I ended up making cookies. I ate 4 of them, but then threw the rest in the garbage.

CB.....
Okay... what I have eaten bears little resemblance to what I had in mind. Still okay, but need some healthy oils & a full serving of dairy.p lus more vegetables & fruit. But then again, I am living in stress central this morning.... triple header-- work, DH's job situation, & parents/ sistercare situation. Here's the thing-- my tracker looks fine, I will have a cup of tea. So far the only causalty today is my 150th Ohio history mug-- tossed it into my book bag when I pulled into garage, then tossed the bag onto a kitchen chair where the extra weight & uneven shape caused my bag to fall to the floor. Yep- broke that cup. At least I didn't have any ceramic bits to sweep off the floor. Will Catch my breath and then decide what is next in my day after I chat w/ all of you.
Audrey- thx for sharing recipe ideas. I am a fan of one pan or one pot dinners. Tweaking recipes works for me! You are smart to schedule those doctor appointments early in the year. Oh no.... your poor FitBit! Don't you just hate when you do something like that? Hope that you have the time to quickly replace it.
Susi- glad that the weather system was less destructive in your area than expected. So sad about the loss of life and property elsewhere. Please savor each and every wonderful bite of that tomato. Very few things in life compare to fresh vegetables and fruits. Yes, I am drooling.
Ann-- can bet that you are on a countdown for your DW's delivery! I second the notion of one pot wonders or cookie sheet recipes and paper plates! Glad that you, Carl, and the furry ones were also safe from the storm.

LaDonna- hope that your busy day meant that work flew by! Knowing that you could increase your activity is a useful starting point. Means that you are mindful! Bet that you will follow through with your goal today and/or tomorrow.
Pam- yep, those are the goals that make this program work!
Cyndee-- kudos for getting the day off to a better start. KUdos for throwing out the rest of the cookies. Personally, I have accepted that what "doing SP" looks like is different at times. It includes periods where getting & keeping traction is more challenging. I had to keep trying to track until I just started to track everything again. But I figured that my journal would have those hit & misses until it didn't. Please give yourself credit for what healthy choices you made today. When you take one small step forward-- you are on your way even if you wobble or trip or fall down. Good luck!

Audrey, too bad about your FB Pam, sounds great! Cyndee, Oh no! Just start over...right this minute. I believe I've heard you say before you really like to bake so next time maybe have a plan in place for someone you can give your baked goods to after you've had a small serving June, Sorry about your mug

I've had very little to eat today because I am saving up to go out this evening for my DD's birthday dinner. She picked a good little place we know to eat called D's wings. I never get wings but they have SO many things to choose from. I'll probably have a steak. Looking forward to it.
