Conway blames the media because she's been threatened . . . get real! I seriously doubt there is anyone who places themselves in the spotlight of the world who does not receive threats whether they are spokespeople, celebrities, politicians, etc. so why would one expect that the "Master of Alternative Facts" would be different. It's a part of public life--maybe an ugly part, but nevertheless a part and KAC was bound to have known that before she chose this job. I don't feel sorry for her. I do feel bad for the poor SS who have to surround her. I don't want anything bad to happen to her or anyone else, but even I would have known to expect that threats come along with the territory whether you are Republican, Democrat, or Independent.

I expect that article from Rachel is pretty spot on target. Doesn't it make you feel comfortable knowing our future is in the hands of someone with the impulse control of an adolescent?
Maybe some of his aides try to steer him in a better direction and head off his self-destructive tendencies, but others like KAC just feed into them. Sooner or later, however, it is going to come back to bite them when his actions go awry and he lays the blame on them. Remember he's a master at saying "You're fired!" If I were KAC, I'd keep my resume updated.

Agree, there are many examples in our family (both sides) and extended family both male and female. We have NE, California, Fla, Midwest, NYC conservatives, surprises me sometimes we are blood relatives (guess they took a wrong turn somewhere. lol
We try to teach our grands (4 boys) to think for themselves and how things affect other people. All boys, but God willing they will live a long life and try to spread the think for yourself to their children. Don't take anything at face value, look at the why's and wherefores.

I do believe & I certainly worry about the fact that Steve Bannon is " the Trump Whisper"...between him & Mike Flynn, there is a whole lot of crap going on behind the scenes to undermine this country. I also believe that KAC & her husband are part of this Alt-Right movement. I keep wondering when the GOP Congress is going to open their eyes & see that Tweety is mentally ill & being manipulated by the Alt-Rught movement. I'm not a big Pence fan at all, but at least he's mentally stable (?) ...I hope. Wonder how long it will be before the middle of the night, back room meetings to oust Tweety will be going on?...

This National Park Is Defying Donald Trump With Climate Change Facts Stay bad, Badlands. 3 hours ago | Updated 2 hours ago Lydia O’Connor Reporter, The Huffington Post The National Parks system has another rogue tweeter, and they’re not afraid to get real about climate change.
The official Twitter account of Badlands National Park in South Dakota fired off a series of since-deleted tweets Tuesday afternoon listing facts about the planet’s rising carbon dioxide levels, just one day after sources inside the Environmental Protection Agency revealed employees had been instructed to freeze all its grants and halt any social media posts or external press releases.
BADLANDS NATIONAL PARK TWITTER The bold move comes days after the Department of the Interior temporarily suspended all activity on its Twitter accounts after one of its agencies, the National Park Service, retweeted images comparing the crowds at Donald Trump’s inauguration to those of Barack Obama’s in 2009 and reposted a tweet saying the civil rights, climate change and health care pages had been scrubbed from the White House website.
UPDATE: 5:55 p.m. ― The tweets were deleted just hours after they were first posted.
The Democratic National Committee issued a one-sentence reaction to their unexplained removal: “Vladimir Putin would be proud.”

I think they already know he is mentally ill. I told DH tonight as we were watching the news that I will be very surprised if Tweety makes it through a 4 year term. I think they are using him to get through some things they want which will be very unpopular with the public, such as cutting back Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security, etc. They can blame the cuts on him and still get what they want without having to accept the full responsibility. Then they will find a way to get rid of him through impeachment or something, and Pence will finish out his term. I don't have a crystal ball or anything to back up my prediction, but it won't surprise me in the least if the prediction comes true.

So I read on Political Wire that Trump tweeted that he would "send in the Feds" if Chicago didn't address violence in the city. Sounds like the Bannon whisperer. And so it begins.

So I read on Political Wire that Trump tweeted that he would "send in the Feds" if Chicago didn't address violence in the city. Sounds like the Bannon whisperer. And so it begins. I read that too, Janice. So how do conservatives who from what I understand believe that the Federal government should have less power and the state governments have strong power reconcile this? If a state doesn't request "help," and from what I am reading the only help they are requesting is tighter gun control laws, greater funding for police, etc. So is it o.k. with Republican voters if he acts like what he believes he is, an Emperor rather than a President and interferes to such an extent within a state? What does he plan to do, declare martial law and send in the military? Didn't we recently just go through a big brouhaha with some about that very thing when the military was holding training exercises in Texas and many conspiracy theorists were convinced that President Obama was invading Texas, going to take over all the WalMarts, etc? I agree that the violence in Chicago from what I have read is seriously out of hand, but perhaps if Tweety really wants to help he should try listening to the people fighting it now on the ground to find out from them what help they believe they need rather than waving his scepter and sending in Federal troops.

It's sounds like he's going to be more of a dictator rather than a President. He's admiration for all things Putin are "dictating" his behavior. UGH!...

I grew up in NYC. Trump was never liked and was always viewed as a petulant little rich boy nut case even way back. Just for an example, here's a nice read on how he ruined a football league that he'd purchased. Our economy can't be far behind. I hope all the rust belt people and coal mine people who trusted this clown are happy now with the changes he's making to the insurance industry. Even if they get a job, if they have a pre-existing condition they're out of luck.
