Today is here, awaiting us to give it meaning and purpose. What will your day be?
what can you do to become healthier, lose weight, or maintain your weight loss? how will you acccomplish it?
Are you tracking? If not, what's your recovery plan? What small step will you take?

Goooood morning, everyone! Not sure if I will try to attend early morning WW meeting or not. So I started our thread. Have a fantastic hump day.
Today: if I attend the meeting try to take away something worthwhile. Do not get side tracked by the nonprogram remarks.
HOw: Remember: What I get out of the meeting is my choice. If this time/ group isn't a good fit at this time, I will try others.

June, good point about what you get from meetings. I used to love them but left when the one I liked best was cancelled. I do love those once a month LT member meetings.
Today I will avoid temptations at lunch (see below), walk in spite of the cold morning air (33 degrees) and continue to have little caffeine. I have been tracking and pre tracking daily.
Yesterday seemed like a long busy today but today I am going to the women's club card party. I don't play bridge so I guess I will be playing bunco for the very first time. I was an only child and my parents didn't play cards except when they went to Las Vegas. My father played poker. With my own kids I played the simple games and then ones like Monopoly and Scrabble when they were older. It should be fun beginning with a luncheon at 11:30. I have been tracking every day but my Fitbit doesn't work. Their CS told me to keep it in rice for 24 hours and I have a link to try to reset it. I hope it will work. Until then I can't do any challenges. Dinner will be a repeat of yesterday. i cooked 2 extra chicken breasts Tuesday but will make fresh vegetables for the Greek chicken sheet pan dinner tonight. Have a great day. Typing this earlier than usual so I can watch This is Us.

Good morning June Audrey and AWF! June I agree. I often ask myself why people attend Weight Watcher meetings when all they do is bash the program! Makes no sense to me. I'm lucky that I have a wonderful small and supportive meeting that I go to now. That was not always the case! I hope you find a good 'fit'.
Audrey they don't have LT meetings in my area. They used to, but they were cancelled. Unfortunately I never went to one. Sounds like you have a fun time scheduled playing cards. Yummy and smart on cooking 2 extra chicken breasts. I often do that.
Time for me to hit the sack. Sleep well!

June β I loved my old leader and still WI with her on Wednesdays. My new leader is really good but my problem is that meetings are geared towards losing weight, not maintaining, which sometimes makes them irrelevant. However, my deal with myself was not to miss a WI or meeting. I went 3 years without either and maintained for 2 of them. But bottom line was that I ultimately needed the accountability. Audrey β Good job on the tracking/pretracking. Sounds like it will be a fun day. Enjoy. I donβt mind walking in the cold, just not wet. Hope your Fitbit will recover. Sleep well Ann. And while you night owls are now sleeping, this early bird is ready to hit the gym for a spin class. Scale is up and I am not sure why when I look at my tracker. I suspect some hidden sodium somewhere. Still within my 2 but not my comfort zone. Other than breakfast, my day is not planned. The accountant is in today which means lunch out. His favorite places will require portion control rather than good choices.

Morning to all, June I so understand about the leader.I always had the same leader since I was twenty something. And ofcourse i always joined and quit but she always remembered me . She is no longer there but the new one is OK I guess. But she had something done to her foot and was off 1 day and this girl in our meeting taught and was excellent.
Audrey I hope you can recover your Fitbit.....Normally they send you another one...
Ann I hope you had a good night rest...
Susi enjoy your spin class.
I was MIA yesterday .Trigger was off so we just hung out all day.
How : Cleaning today and will be rocking through the house. Track, mindful of my food selection. Big ole hamburger for supper. 93 /7. Less fat...

Good morning Susi Naomi and AWF. I slept like a rock! Feels so good and for that I'm most grateful!
Susi, I always suspect 'hidden sodium' whenever the scale spikes up and my journal looks good. Enjoy your spin class. I know you'll exercise that portion control.
Naomi, missed you yesterday. Every once in awhile it's nice to unplug and hang out with loved ones.
I had one piece of delish pizza last night. One of our many neighbors brought it over from a restaurant that Carl and I used to go to. I happened to mention it to them and they were in that area and stopped. I tracked it (best I could) and I'm attributing that to my good sleep LOL. It was well worth the blip in the TB that I just KNOW I'll see today. I'll be guzzling the water as tomorrow is my weigh in day, and last meeting for awhile.
Waving to all and I'll CBL

Hi all... heading to school shortly after finishing my grading tasks. Didn't go to the meeting b/c I slept a little later. Realized that my body is fighting off some allergy or germ-- very slight chill, stuffiness, & ache. So minor that it is almost unnoticeable -- well to me. I think it's allergy b/c of mold encountered when clearing off branches & twigs.
Audrey- enjoy your luncheon. Would you like to learn how to play Bridge or are the players cutthroat? I like playing games, but I can be competitive! My mom never just "let us" win, and so with five children so close in age, we did compete. Fingers are crossed for you & your recovery efforts. Hope that the rice absorbs all the residual moisture in your FB. Must be leftover chicken day w/ some new sides. That is what we are having, too!
Susi- hidden sodium & sugar both seem to nudge my scale upward IMHO. Bet that you rocked spin class! How is Charlie? Portion control works. Enjoy your lunch out.
Ann-- have been thinking of you & your dishwashing, then counting the days for "deliverance/delivery." Glad you have a great meeting "fit."
Naomi-you were missed. GLad to know that you were enjoying time w/ your DH. How you feelin? HOw is he feeling? Are the meds working?

Naomi β Glad you had a nice day with Trigger! Ann β Glad you got to enjoy your pizza. Really good pizza is a worthwhile indulgence. June β Lots of people are reporting aches, sore throats, etc. Hope you can nip it in the bud. Charlie gets his stitches out Friday morning.

June, hope you have a good meeting.
Audrey, my siblings and I played games, and so did my children and I, and I taught the grand kids games. BUT I have never played Bunco. Your dinner sounds good. Good for continuing to avoid the caffeine.
Ann, hope you rested well. Yes, good pizza is worth the points.
June, enjoy your day!
Naomi, glad you and Trigger had a day together. Enjoy that hamburger. Do you grill onions to put atop your burger?
How - cooking liver and onions for 2 friends for lunch, leftover almondine green bans and a large salad. Water, water, water.
Today I planted my beets, and am going to sprout some more. I like little beets, so am planting them in smaller containers. We shall see if that shall work or not. Who knows?
May AWF have a great day!

Hi girls. Just got out of the shower and ready to start the day. Yes! Pizza IS worth the blip on the TB for sure. It added .7 and I'm fine with it. So be it!
I just heard from our neighbor across the street. They give her DH 6 months to live! He had cancer that went undetected and by the time they removed it and after chemo it spread to the bone and to the liver. My heart goes out to him and his wife Pat. This is their second marriage...both lost their spouse to cancer so it is really hitting Pat hard. Please keep both in your prayers.
Bee I hear you on the water water water. I'm on my second 20 oz. jug not to mention my coffee! Good luck with your planting.
June sending soothing vibes and warm hugs to you. I hope it's allergy related and that it leaves you quickly!
Well, time to get a move on. I have a dull headache...nothing drastic but I'm aware it's there!
Susi, Yeah to Charlie (and you) Bet you both can't wait!!!!!
Will CBL

Bee - You reminded me. I have liver in the freezer. I think that will be on next week's menu. Enjoy! Ann - Such horrible news. Sending prayers. His appointment was for next week, but I don't want my pet sitter to have to deal with his collar. Charlie will be spending the weekend with his cousins so the less fuss, the better. Plus they look ready to come out.

Good just-about-afternoon, all!
Ann, so sorry to read about your neighbor's DH...
I got lucky with my WW meeting. The leader's good, the group is collegial, and there are enough lifetimers in it who bring up their challenges - well, actually more than the newbies or mid-journeyers do. But it's not boring, that's for sure.
WOWZERS!!! It's SUNNY outside!!!
DayJob's been a bit nippy this morning, but nothing particularly <oy>... yet. So I've got laundry going and I'm catching up on cyberPaperwork.
WHAT: I am really "over" cloudy weather. Today is the SUN-day for the next several, and I really need to go bask in the warmth.
HOW: It's too chilly to actually eat outdoors BUT I'm considering a picnic lunch in my parked-in-the-sun Jeep. Dinner will be pasta and meat sauce, and salad.
Have a healthy-eating day, all!

Good morning lady's Yes somedays our loved ones just need some extra hugs and kisses...Funny thing about it we got up and I exercised while he shoveled so I could have got on but I was talking on the phone and then we were both done so we just hung out and enjoyed each other's company.
Now I love crab cakes and where I actually use to eat them at they got different ones and I do not like ...I had tried so many restaurants in my time but only liked this one place.
My sister in law told me about these frozen ones at our Walmart and I bought them awhile ago.I made them for lunch and they were the best ever ..Southern Belle Premium Lump Crab Cake. Awesome. If you love a good Crab cake with hardly any breeding these are for you. I had 2
Nutrients : calories 90 Sat fat 0.5 Sugar 1 Protein 8.
Ann I'm so glad you enjoyed your pizza and that was so kind of your neighbor.
June. I hope you feel better. And yes a couple different sickness going around.
Susi that's nice Charlie is feeling better and after the stitches are out he will feel even better...
Bee I'm glad you like liver but I on the other hand DO NOT. My mom loved liver...
Pam following the plan as Written that is awesome....
