Hello Everyone - Hope you are all doing well today sunrose - I'm sorry to hear bout your BFF's dog. I still miss the dog I had and she passed away 20 years ago, they really get into our hearts. I have some old WW things back from the 1980s and 1990s I've always been kind of obsessed with my weight and weight loss, so I kept those materials and books with my weights in them. I'm doing pretty well today and staying on track. Hope to continue that way for the rest of the month. If I can avoid the "crazy" overeating I'm happy. I'm finding when I plan to overeat and count for it that works better for me.

I've gotten nothing done today lol. My dog woke me up at 5:30 to watch the wedding. Ok so he had to go outside, too Other than that, it's been a lazy kind of day.

Hello Everyone - Hope you are enjoying your weekend I watched the wedding too and really enjoyed it. I love all Royal events like that and the fashion and music was beautiful. I've been weighing myself every day while working to get back below goal. For the 4 days (before today) I've weighed the same weight, today I weighed in at 2.2 pounds higher! Even with my one day of overeating, when I didn't have enough calories to even gain one pound, it's really strange that I'm weighing higher. I guess this is why some people weigh all the time, so they can see how there body adjusts all the time. I'm not letting the higher number affect me though, like I would have in the past. I know that I've been on track, so I just have to keep doing that and I know the number will go back down. It's really a long journey to deal with weight loss and weight maintenance, isn't it?

Good morning
DotRen, too funny your dog woke you to watch the wedding ;-)
cj59, it really is a long journey to deal with weight loss/maintenance. I weigh myself every day. I don't get upset about the # anymore. Although I should. I just look at it as one feedback. I like watching the Royal events too. I thought the wedding was very nice.
Waving to all
Headed to my WW meeting this morning. I know I will be up since I got into the peanuts last night....ugh

Hello Everyone - Hope you are all enjoying your weekend I enjoyed the wedding and have been reading the stories and looking at pictures. I'm interested to see if they'll release the official photos of the wedding party. The little kids were so cute. I've been really tempted to overeat today, but I'm trying not too. The later in the day it gets the easier it is for me since I'll stop eating around 7:30. I have eaten a few extra bagel chips and tortilla chips. I just like the crunchy snacks. But I'm tracking them and not too far over my daily points.

Ugh! When you order something from amazon on Prime and don't pay attention to the "ships in 1-2 months" line /annoyed lol. Good thing you can cancel and order it from a different seller most of the time. Good Monday morning all! Meal prepping later. Grilled chicken and broccoli for the main parts of lunches this week (after today), then I can add another veggie, or butter, or cheese or whatever as needed. I read a great article about how the combination of the antioxidants in blueberries and some amino acid in beef, together, help all sorts of things like blood pressure, high cholesterol, even aging (right- I don't buy that last part ). I can see doing a salad with grilled sirloin and blueberries a few times a week over the summer to get that combo.

Hello Everyone - Hope you are doing well today I'm struggling again. I overate yesterday and I'm on the road to doing it today. I've been thinking that what I'm doing right now just isn't working for me to lose my gained weight and maintain my weight loss. I'm going to have to adjust things and figure something out. I know a lot of my problem is my issues with using food to deal with my emotions and my addition to food. I bought a book about ending binge eating and I'm going to read that and see if I can get some advice on how to change my behavior. I can't let this go on too long or I'll be right back where I was a few years ago, so I hope I can get it under control and find some way to move forward. Thanks for listening

Good morning
cj59, the struggle is real. I can so relate. Let me know how the book is. I wish you luck finding a solution, but I truly do think you are awesome :-)
dotren, I have done that with amazon, but on a different level. I ordered M&M's not paying attention to the size of the bag. It was 5lbs! OMG, my son and I ate a lot of it before I made him take it to work.
I too am struggling with my eating. Mine is at night. I do good with my step goal, but really need to kick it up a notch to get more cardio in. Today I have a noon doctor appointment and then dinner tonight with my gf for her birthday.
Waving to all and sending skinny vibes

Good morning! We have some cloud cover today, which will take some of the edge off the afternoon heat. Hoping for a few drops of rain or else we'll have to water the trees this weekend. We have 2 huge 80+ year old Magnolia trees in the front yard, then a fig, pear, pecan, chinaberry(husband says that's what it is, I have no idea) and some kind of oak tree in the back that are all getting pretty parched. It's lovely because the entire back yard is canopied by the trees in the summer, which makes our dog very happy lol. He's an inside dog, but with a black coat he gets pretty hot outside playing and "doing his business". I hope these work, this is the back yard and you can see the canopy:

Hello Everyone - Hope you are all doing well today I'll let you all know if the book I read is helping me. I realize that what I've been doing the last 6 months is just not working and won't keep me doing well in Maintenance, so I have to try something else. DotRen- Thanks for sharing the pictures, you have a beautiful back yard. I have a fig tree too, it used to be about 15 feet high and that much around but the weeds took it over and I had it cut down to the ground. I thought that would kill it but it came back a few years later and last year was about 5x5 feet around. This year it's not looking as good, I guess the Winter wasn't good to it. When I was a child I remember reading a story about a Chinaberry Tree

The pictures are weird, it looks like the fence is leaning but it's not lol. We've never gotten to the figs before the squirrels do!
