This is a monthly thread for those of us who have a lot of weight to lose. The definition of “a lot” is something that is determined personally, so everyone who feels they have a lot of weight to lose is welcome to post here.
Please join us in offering support, checking in for accountability, help with questions, etc. We’re in this for the long haul.
We’d also love to hear from those of you who are maintaining a large loss. We need those tips to help us to keep the weight off once we lose it

Good morning everyone!
I've signed up for a three month plan. I mostly just wanted to try Freestyle.
I did ok yesterday considering that I was away on business.
I'm going to give it three months to see how I like it.
I'm feeling pretty uncomfortable in my own skin lately.
I have my fitbit synced and I can't believe how many fitpoints I earn doing nothing.
I've always been someone who eats every point available to me, so we'll see how this goes.

Good morning and Happy June! wwlurker, I signed up for 3 months and have stayed longer. The menu ideas on skinnytaste help a lot getting used to the new plan:)

Good morning
WWLurker, thanks for the June start. I love my fitbit. I pay no attention to my points (any of them). I really need to track.
DotRen, I'll need to check out the skinnytaste site.
Waving to all. I need to get caught up. So much yard work this week.

Good morning everyone!
Today is my official start to Freestyle.
Last night I went over my plan by quite a bit. Some of it was just "whatever " eating, knowing my official start was today. Not a great attitude to have. Today is a new day, though.
I need to start looking for some low point options for lunches, breakfasts and snacks.
Hope everyone has a great day!

Hello Everyone - Hope you are all doing well today wwlurker - Thanks for starting the June thread. I hope that you will enjoy Freestyle and have success on it. I read so many posts on the message boards of people that really like it and think it's a good, livable plan. I'll be anxious to hear what you think since I know I need to cut down on my sugary food consumption and this plan might help me. I was out of the house almost all day yesterday. It was nice to get out but I was tired when I got home. Even though I ate a Fast Food lunch I did well and made good selections and I've been on track for several days now. Just have to keep working and stay on track. Hope everyone is having a great weekend!

wwlurker, good luck with Freestyle! It seems to work so well for lots of people. I've stuck to my plan pretty well this week and had a good meeting. No difference on the scales this week but I did manage to maintain my loss, which I was pleased about. The only thing I'm not so pleased about is that my knee problems have flared up again and I can barely get about. It's just annoying that this happens when I am actually LOSING weight rather than GAINING it, for the first time in about 10 years! My ex-husband's new partner helpfully told me that my knee problems were probably due to my weight (as if I didn't know) when she came to pick up the girls for their weekend with their dad. She got a dirty look in reply!

Hello Everyone flower99 - I'm glad to hear you've been sticking to the plan, I'm sure you'll see the loss soon. Sorry to hear about your knee. I had a lot of knee pain before I lost weight. I only get a few twinges now. I hope your knees will get better in time too. I'm doing pretty well today. I wrote out my food plan this morning and I'm sticking to it. I know I've lost most of the fluid I put on from that last overeating binge, so now I have to lose the actual weight I gained back. I sure hope I don't keep up this cycle and I can start maintaining my weight better.

DH went back to work today so I can get back into my routine and back on plan! I did my best to stick to it, but it's tough when your usual routine is disrupted lol. I guess I'm a creature of habit

Hello Everyone DotRen- I like routines too I'm doing pretty well today, even went grocery shopping and didn't buy any junk food! I did weigh-in and have lost about half of the weight I gained. So I just need to work on getting the rest off. Hope everyone is doing well on their plans.

Sorry I am so MIA lately. With all the rain the yard just keeps growing and need to get out while I can. I am so far behind on posts, but I hope everyone is doing good.

Hello Everyone Hi sunrose - Hope you are doing well I'm hanging in there today. I've had to fight the desire to overeat. I figured out a few "snacks" I could fit into my meal plan today so hopefully they will keep me on track. I've been writing out a food plan each day and that has helped me to stick to that and not overeat. I just want to avoid the uncontrolled overeating, so if I can do that I'll be happy. Hope everyone else is doing well too!

Good morning
cj59, a plan is a great thing to do. I need to work on my dinners. I don't plan those.
DotRen, thanks for sharing the NASA rocket launch!!
wwlurker, show is freestyle going for you?
flower99, OMG I would have given her a dirty look too, maybe a little trip too...lol I hope your knees are feeling better. WTG on maintaining. That is always an awesome thing in my book.
I really need to work on my plan. At least plan dinners. Breakfast and lunch I usually do pretty good. Steps are good. At WW we were given the challenge of setting a WW summer goal. I picked meet my 10K steps 6 days a week and lose 6 pounds.

I picked up a couple of the old WW Momentum cookbooks off amazon, used but in great condition, like $4 each. If I see any recipes worth sharing, I'll be sure and do that.
