Hello Everyone - Hope you are all doing well DotRen- Thanks for sharing any recipes you like. I tend to eat the same things all the time, but every once in awhile I'll try a new recipe. I'm doing pretty well and I'm only about 5 pounds above my goal weight now. I like to get at least 2 below that, so I still need to lose at least 7 pounds. I'm just trying to stay strong and on track. But some days it seems like all I do is think about what food I'm going to eat, preparing that food and tracking that food, as well as getting in my exercise and water. It becomes like a job and I just wonder if there are a lot of other people who live like this or if there are more people who just eat what they want and don't have to think about it every day?

Hope everyone is doing well today and on their plans I have some food challenges this weekend, so hopefully I'll stay on track. I've already planned out my food for today and for the restaurant where I'm eating later so that helps. The rest of the weekend is a little more open, but it's up to me to do well. Have a great weekend!

Hi everyone!
I think that there are some people who don't obsess, and they are just the weight they should be, even if that weight is a bit higher than they would like. I also think there are those who use food inappropriately and ignore their signals after years of restriction or eating for comfort (which in and of itself isn't a bad thing if you're in tune with your body). I also think there are those who have disordered eating and stay thin that way.
I have not been following freestyle this week at all. I am up quite a bit. I have a lot of changes going on.
I made the difficult decision to quit my private corporate job and take a new job in public service. It's a huge step for me and there has been a lot of upheaval in the past few days.

Hello Everyone wwlurker - That's a big career change, I wish you the best with it and I know you'll deal with the upheaval for now and get back on track when you can I'm really pleased that I did well with my eating yesterday and today. I stayed within my points/calories and avoided a lot of temptations. I can't say I was that happy about it, since I would have loved to eat all the great things around, but I really want to get back to my goal weight and this is what it takes. I only have to get through tomorrow where there will be a few more temptations and then I can start a new week on Monday. Hope everyone else is doing well and enjoying the weekend!

Just checking in for accountability. I've stayed on track all weekend, even with a lot of temptations, so I'm really happy about that. I hope I can continue to stay strong and on program. Hope everyone is doing well

I am doing absolutely awful.
I am over 220 now.
Just 13 short of 233 which is where I started in June 2013.
I think I eat worse than when I started.
I tracked yesterday and today, and am on program for both days.
I'm stressed out from all the meal prep, but I am pleased with the eating.
I don't trust the promises I make to myself anymore and I am beginning to doubt my ability to do this.
Which is ridiculous because I've lost 50+ before.
Yesterday and today were good, tomorrow has a plan, and I guess that will have to be enough for now.
Just thought I'd layout the reality instead of glossing over it with my "everything will be okay" attitude.
I hope you're all doing much better!

Hello Everyone irisinnia - I'm sorry to hear you've been struggling, we all definitely go through this. I lost over 100 pounds four times and gained it all, and more, back. So I understand that you know you can be successful and how frustrating it is when you aren't. I'm glad you've gotten back on track and I'll wish for you many more days on track. I always tell myself "You Can Do It". I know you can too I'm doing well today and sticking to my food plan. I'm hoping I can have a good month, unlike the last 2 months where about half the month was good and the other half was eating back all I'd lost and gaining more. I just have to be aware that I'll probably get the urge to go off plan after I've been on plan for about 2-3 weeks. That seems to be about my limit before I start overeating. Hopefully reading the Never Binge Again book and trying to incorporate some of those skills will help me.

Having a few minutes of relaxing "me" time before I start cleaning and de-cluttering. I'm going to try for 1 room a day - wish me luck!

Good morning everyone! cj59 , Thanks CJ! I definitely can do this. I just wanted to come on here and be honest about how things are going. I don't know, I felt like if I didn't address it, I'd be lying somehow. So every 2-3 weeks you want to go off plan? Is it like cravings or just general malaise with the process? DotRen , Cleaning and de-cluttering a room a day? Good luck! Don't forget to enjoy the room when it's all pretty! I am doing well today and even got out the door this morning to go for a long walk. Also, I used my juicer this morning and wow did that make a difference for my digestion. Confession: These days I usually lay down after I eat because my digestive system is so jacked up, but I was able to do the dishes right after breakfast, so again, wow! I hope you're all doing great on your plans! And if not, I hope you fix the problem soon!

Hello Everyone DotRen - I wish I could declutter one room a day in my house, but there's no way with all the stuff in my house I've been putting off doing this for years and really need to get started. Good luck to you. If you have any tips to share, please do. irisinnia - I'm glad to hear you are doing well. I've found that coming here and posting even when I'm not on track helps me to get back on track while being honest with myself. I'm glad the juicer helped you today. I don't know what causes me to binge/overeat every 3 weeks or so. I think I just reach a point where I'm tired of counting every point/calorie, writing out a food plan, preparing the food, getting in my exercise and water each day,and thinking about what I'd rather be eating. It's like there's a part of me that says it's not fair I have to live this way, I just want life to be easy and to be able to eat whatever I want, and get all the happy feelings I get from eating. I went out today and was a little nervous I might buy junk food at the grocery store, but I didn't buy any. I weighed up a few pounds this morning and that frustrates me but I know that I have been on track so I'm guessing it's just fluid retention. I have eaten a lot of salty foods over the last several days. Hopefully I'll see it go back down again. Hope everyone is doing well on their plans

cj59, I get that lol. DH and I differ a lot. He doesn't like to throw anything away. Me? I am not sentimental at all, so I'm more of a "if you haven't used it in so long you forgot you had it, it's time to toss it" kind of person As for tips: do it when you're alone and won't get "oh I want to keep that" from anyone haha

The decluttering/cleaning went well yesterday. Today I'm going to clean out the bathroom closet. I know there are a lot of expired OTC meds and things in there that need to be disposed of. I'll call the city when they open and ask the best method. I know for prescriptions, we take those to the police station and they deal with them.

DotRen - I'm like your husband and don't like to throw anything away. Since I'm alone all the time, it's up to me to do the decluttering Hope you are continuing to make progress in your house I'm doing pretty well today, sticking to my food plan. The only "complaint" I have is that I'm back in that mode where I'm eating almost every hour between 11:00 A.M. and 7:00 P.M. It's not that this doesn't work for me but I think it really sets me up to constantly think of, and crave, food. I really need to try to set some meal times and try not to eat between them. It's just easier to say that than to do it. Hope everyone else is doing well on their plans

cj59, Thank you! And I think you're right that checking in will help me stay on track. I'm going to try. Things get crazy around here real quick. Tracking is everyone's least favorite thing to do, but - when I was losing weight like a boss - I always wondered, are you even on WW if you're not tracking? Still, I can't imagine how hard it is to do it on maintenance after you have done it so long. Do you vary what you eat a lot or could you streamline it? Like breakfast #1 - 5 points, lunch #3 - 6 points and then just refer to a master list, if you want to review what you ate? DotRen, I love decluttering! I'm jealous right now. I think I might do the formal living room/ entryway right now, just so I feel I'm in with the in crowd. How this week is going: Sunday: 35/34 PP Monday: 37/34 PP Tuesday: 49/34 PP Today: 42/34 PP and 22 weekly left Would've been nice to stay under 40 today, but there was an ice cream sandwich mishap. The main thing is I really didn't have a meal plan for today, so I need to make one for tomorrow. (In my head: Awww, do I have to? Me: Numbers don't lie, so yes.) IF I can stay in the 34+7 range I will be right on track for this week, so...wish me luck! And by luck I mean mental fortitude.
