Dong well, thanks Kind of a quiet day, which is fine with me. I did pick up some Dove Promises dark chocolate mint candies. I'm limiting myself to 2 pieces a day since I could easily eat the entire bag lol.

Hello Everyone
sunrose - the M&Ms are gone, finished off in my overeating yesterday
DotRen - I think it's great that you can find a candy that you will be able to limit to a portion size each day. I hope you will be successful with that.
I really believe that we should still be able to have some foods that we find enjoyable, as long as we can learn to control them.
I'm back on track today. Two days of overeating was enough and it just gets to a point where it's not even pleasurable. I really hope that I can eventually find the skills to stop doing that to myself. I'm going to participate in the Beck Book Review that just started and hopefully that will help some.
Hope everyone else is doing well on their plans

Do you ever have days when you're agitated but not sure why? I've been like that for 3 days and I can't think of a thing that's bothering me!

Good morning
DotRen, yes I have that happen occasionally. Hope today is better. I love Dove chocolate.
cj59, I too think you should be able to have special treats. At least you had the M&Ms slowly. I would have eaten them all at once.
There was a bear sighting in the neighborhood yesterday. Ugh
Did get a walk in this morning with Maddie (my dog).

Hello Everyone DotRen - I do get agitated/anxious too. It could be that there is just so much in our world that can stress us out without us even realizing it. Take care of yourself sunrose - Bears!!! Be safe when you are out with your dog. I guess you don't let your dog out in the yard by itself? I can eat a whole bag of chocolate easily, but just try not to anymore I made it through the day yesterday staying on track and I'm working at that today too. Hope I can finish out the week (ends Sunday for me) on track and hopefully the 2 day of overeating won't have caused me to gain weight this week. I did stop weighing every day because I think that is part of what causes me to start bingeing. When I don't see the number I expect to see it just sets me up to start overeating. I need to find a way not to the let the number on the scale affect me. Hope everyone else is doing well on their plans.

Hi everyone!
Just popping in to say that I'm still around. I haven't been checking the boards. I was busy wrapping up my old job and starting the new one. I'm still working on getting settled. It's a big change for me. My day to day life is completely different now, including what I do all day in terms of work (both subject matter and how my days are structured). But, I really didn't go far. I can literally see my old office from the window of my new one. I just moved to the next office building over.
Health-wise, I haven't been doing much of anything. I'm hopeful that this new position will make a difference because I will have time to take lunches and prepare meals. I may also have some time for exercise, but I have to figure out the gym situation because I no longer have my membership paid by my employer.
Hope you all are doing well.

Hi wwlurker - Thanks for checking in and letting us know how you are. I hope that you will enjoy your new position and it will help you with your meals and exercise I'm doing pretty well today and feeling strong and on track. I need to make it through the weekend on track and then I'll weigh in on Monday and hopefully not see any damage from the overeating of this past Monday and Tuesday. I'm going to go back to weighing in only once a week, since I'm letting that number on the scale dictate what I eat and I don't want to do that. Hope everyone else is doing well on their plans. Have a great weekend!

Just got back from Jurassic World - fantastic movie! Great special effects, very realistic meshing of CGI and real actors, just overall really enjoyable. Would have been better if the lady that sat right behind us (empty theater..) hadn't brought a very little baby that cried through half the movie. Common sense: very loud, dark then bright, etc- not a nearly newborn's idea of enjoyable stimulation.

Good morning wwlurker, great to see you. I hope the new position works really well for you. Keep us posted when you can. cj59, I might try weighing once a week. I have weighed myself daily for at least 30 years. I hate seeing the # that pops up. dotren, glad you liked the movie, but a terrible thing to do to a baby When I went to see "The Sixth Sense" years ago there was a woman sitting in front of me with her very little kid. I spent more time giving her the evil eye than watching the movie...lol I have a fenced in yard for my dog to go in. She is a 70 pound yellow lab. I hope to never have any encounters with a bear while walking her. We usually get a couple bears in the neighborhood in the spring and fall. Usually they are young after the mother has kicked them out. I live just outside of Frederick, MD. Close to West Virginia and Pennsylvania. Mountains all around. I also am very close to the Appalachian trail. I saw a coyote several years ago when I was in Montana. They say there are some around here, but I have not seen any.

Meant to say doing okay with steps/water. Not doing the best with food. I really need to work on cardio too.
Happy weekend to all.

Hello Everyone sunrose - I'm glad you have a fenced in yard for your dog. Make sure to give yourself credit for doing well with your steps and water I'm doing pretty well today, but hungry probably more emotionally than physically. It's just crazy how many calories are in everything. I was looking around in my kitchen for something to eat less than 200 calories and hopefully with some protein, but that's not happening I'll weigh-in tomorrow for my monthly stats, and hopefully I haven't gained any weight since Monday. I'm worried if I see a gain that it will set me up to overeat, but hopefully not. Hope everyone else is doing well.
