The decision in "cakegate" may have looked like a win for the conservative right, but in reality it wasn't. It focused on the ruling in Colorado and felt the baker didn't get a fair shake. It did not close the door for future claims of discrimination.
Attached is an article that does a good job of explaining.

Joyce...How did the baseball game turn out?
KAC makes me gag everytime I see or hear her!!!!... Why do news organizations even bother to give her a platform. Let her spew her alternative facts on FOX. She talks over everyone & continues her love/hate rant for Hilary every chance she gets. Gosh, Hillary lost, move on! But she just can't seem to. Not sure who is worse KAC or SSH...both irritate the bejeesus out of me! But there I am listening/watching...LOL

Unfortunately DGS's team lost the game last night. He was SO disappointed. I know he has to learn to deal with disappointments in life, but as his grandmother I would definitely spare him from them if I could. They had beaten this team twice before, but last night the opposing team must have been really hungry for the win because they outplayed them. The game was very close, but still came out in their favor. I hope that the cake issue will be decided differently the next time a similar issue comes before the court, as I'm sure it will. Off to pick up DGS from football camp. Check back later . . .

How does it make any sense to p*ss off Canada? Accusing them of being a national threat?! And LOL of burning down the WH?! Honestly, this JA is totally nuts, and clearly his Ivy League education didn't do much for him. I guess he must have been busy at keg parties when they were holding the history classes. It must be a good time to be convicted of something because he's trying to send lots of "messages" about his power of pardon (so much for being the party that's tough on crime) . He's running scared, I think, and if any of those people he's trying to get the message to has any sense they won't trust him for an instant. But then, if they were all that smart they wouldn't have joined up with him in the first place. Anyone who will stiff small contractors for their services won't hesitate to stiff them with pardons. Just depends on what he thinks is in his favor at the moment, and once they've already refused to give him up why should he care what happens to them?

As children, we're taught: think before you speak. I think someone's mom, dad, nanny, whoever -dropped the ball big time. That could apply to most politicians though lol.

Too many people in life telling him he's wonderful regardless of what he actually does . . . on second thought, maybe it's a good thing I couldn't spare my DGS last night's disappointment.

Kids need to learn to lose to make winning so much sweeter when it happens. They don't always know it or feel it at the time, but so much is learned from losing. I know it always made DGD so determined that the next game was going to be better. Just made her more determined & competive to lose every so often. She didn't like it at the time, of course. LOL....But, ya, the disappointment on the grandkids faces when things don't go well is so hard on Grandparents.

Absolutely Linda. You can learn a lot from losing. Those are very important lessons.
Ryan and Burr are breaking with the JA on the "spy" claims. It's a little late to stand up when you are on your way out the door. Why won't Rs who are staying stand up? Self-serving cowards all of them.

Lots of things being "revealed" in the news, and yet still nothing concrete going on. Wonder how much longer before we have anything of real substance regardless of which way it comes down? I want Mueller to be very thorough, because we all need to know the truth whatever it is, but I expect most of you are like me and ready to get this over with one way or another.
Will the JA give Papadoupolis the pardon his wife is asking for? That's an interesting question. It depends on how JA thinks it will work for himself. It would definitely send a strong message to Manafort, Cohen, etc. But, it could also not work well for the JA with the general public. It will be interesting to see what happens.
This afternoon my cousin is coming into town. She has 2 grandsons visiting from TX who are in the same age group as my DGKs. I will take my two and we're going to meet up at a local place the kids love called Sky Zone. It's an indoor trampoline place where they have a lot of fun. I will visit with my cousin while the kids have fun.
It's also my birthday, so DH and I will go out to eat. Those birthdays just creep up on you. Seems like only yesterday I was a young mother. Now I am a 69 year old grandmother. Somehow I never really pictured that when I was growing up. LOL!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JOYCE! .... Enjoy 69! I turned 70 last month & the thought of entering a new decade kind of freaked me out. LOL. Sounds like a fun place to take the kids. You, just stay off the trampolines, your bones & joints may not like all that much fun. LOL
The thing with the Mueller Report...no one will be satisfied! It will still leave a huge divide in this country! JA has destroyed this country in so many ways that may never be fixed. Scarey!

That's for sure, Linda! These old bones and joints creak and ache enough without bouncing them around!

I agree that a segment of the country will never be satisfied regardless of what the Mueller report says. There's been too much venom spread around. Just as there are people who never accepted the Warren Commission report about President Kennedy's death, there are people on both sides of the divide that will never accept what comes out from Mueller's report. Much of the damage the JA has done to this country can never be repaired.

Birthday Hangover, Joyce?... LOL...From birthday cake, of course!...;-);-)
Soooooo, JA wants Russia back in the the G7....hmmmmm, I think after yesterday's France's President Macron's tweet, it may well be G6 after this weekend!... JA is exactly that, JA plus FM! Good grief what a darn idiot he is. Cheerleading once again for Putin! Disgusting!
Pardon Mohammed Ali!?!?!? .... Gee, the SC overturned his conviction years ago. Once again JA yaps without the facts!
