"Its important to remember that the pendulum will swing the other way."
Just hope it doesn't take too long to start back in the other direction. I do think that many people even many who voted for Tweety are starting to become very, very concerned. There will always be a diehard few who stand behind him all the way, but I have to believe that the majority of the country will not tolerate this forever, not even for 4 years. At least that's my ardent hope. A Republican in the White House is not my preference, but it's not a disaster. Tweety the man is the disaster, and more and more people are realizing that already.

"She is in ill health to begin with, but this administration and the daily news bytes and lies and bluster and bravado have her laying under a blanket on the couch all day. The spark of life has gone out of her."
Suzanne, may I suggest a news blackout? At least for a few days or weeks? Or, months? Just because it's out there doesn't mean we have to partake of it's soul destroying poison. We don't HAVE to watch or listen. It's never good news. Every day it gets worse. It's like watching a horror movie over and over again.
Think about things you did before the monster had all this attention. Maybe you could do something fun or even silly. Sadly, he'll still be there but at least for a few hours you and your Sis don't have to be face to face with it.
Years ago I had a friend in WW that grew tired of people always asking her to have a piece of cake, or a second helping of this and that. When she'd politely say, "no thanks" they'd still pester her about it. As soon as she started telling them she's allergic they'd back off. She wanted to tell them if she has that second piece she'd break out in fat, but I'm allergic did the trick. lol.
I think I got so sick this time because every time I'd see his face or the faces of his minions I'd say they make me sick. And so it goes...
I know it's not easy when that twisted face is everywhere but you can tune him out. Shut him down. Give him nothing! Replace all that evil with good things even for a day. And then another. I'm sending you and your Sis energy packed hugs and Healing Light.

Please do, I will share anything with you but DH (and that could be negotiable on some days). FYI- For what ever reason our representatives said that phone calls are the most effective. I would think a hard copy of a letter or email would be more effective, but what do I know?
Interesting that Frediech Drumpf (Pimp, Profiteer & Patriarch) became that very rare person who is deported from his own country. But now that the family is here, close the door and lock it against refugees. DT is not one to pay it forward.

Haley to UN: 'We're taking names' Nikki Haley, US ambassador to the UN, spoke at the UN headquarters for the first time, stating that "those who don't have our backs, we're taking names."
I think Omarosa already said that........I had higher hopes for Nikki Haley.

I was disappointed in Nikki Haley too, Anne. After she called for the removal of the Confederate flag from the Capitol grounds in South Carolina, I had thought she might be Tweety's one pick that I might be able to support. So I was very disappointed that her first statement at the UN was a divisive, bullying one.
