This thread was started before the dawn of time by Amazons who needed to compare their stats with other Amazons. Over time it grew into a community of incredible women who try to keep their spirits in the clouds and their feet on the ground, moving toward health. Most of us start at 5'7 and go up from there, from young singles to wise and lively elders of the tribe. We welcome newcomers who are willing to be kind and share a bit of their lives.

Silly, sleepy me yesterday -- I typed TGIF instead of So Happy It's Thursday -- and y'all were kind enough not to gig me about it. Bless you!
I'm in front of my tree in an otherwise darkened room. Very quiet. Yesterday I wondered where DK had gotten off to after meowing at her bowl. She was in the dark, in the LR, sitting right by the tree, looking at it and waiting for me to turn it on. So, of course, I did.
It's a jammed morning, trying to figure out what to bring home for the 2.5 week break, and what to leave behind. 3.5 hours of DStus under group watch with group activities and reindeer games, then we have our holiday party for staff; then, home to my kids!
Frieda, bless your cars on their way. Will they be waiting for you when you arrive via aeroplane?
Martha, I hope your doc had good insights. Nancy with her wealth of Pharma knowledge is the advisor I listen to on supplements to consider. Reminder to self: get more D!

Golly, we've shared a lot of changes together here. Lots of history -- babies, exes, so many job changes!, ailing or lost parents, lost friends, moves, found friends, recovered family relationships (yeah for MCat's family!), graduations, weddings, illnesses, broken bones, shattered glass, pets that have passed and new furry children, surgeries, hair color, pounds lost, regained, lost, regained, romances that lead to new beginnings, degrees, hospitalizations, CATventions, cruises, ER visits, certifications, gardens, droughts, marathons, snowstorms, elections - our combined CAT timeline would be as thick and convoluted as a Tolstoy novel with subplots by Dickens.

Battening down the hatches in anticipation of incoming snow. We have the Grands tonight while the DPs attend DD's Christmas party. I'm hoping for blankets, a movie, and popcorn.
Ah, Frieda; sending safe travel vibes, dear girl, as you head home. I'm feeling the stars beginning to align in your world.
I'll try to begin baking some of the dough I made, using only the top oven. How spoiled I've become, now used to cranking out three sheets at a time. Praying the weather doesn't delay the delivery of my replacement part.

Who wouldn't be ready for Friday early?
Dr had told me previously to take vit. d but had done my usual procrastination. I'm taking 5k of it daily, along with happy light.
I like the idea of movies, popcorn & blankets.
I have ingredients for pumpkin cookies and mini pecan tarts. Cookies will be made first. Tarts might just be for Christmas.
Loved the list of what CATs have been up to.
I'm tired and want a nap. Unfortunately that won't help my insomnia type symptoms. Guess it's time for a hot tea to get me moving.
We checked weather on the NOAA website earlier. They have a winter weather advisory for tomorrow from 7am to 10pm. Snow is forecast for tomorrow morning. Told DH I wasn't going to go to WW meeting, even if he were to drive me. It's not worth it! and I live 2 miles from ww site.

Any one have good remedy for an acne that appeared on my face? it's an underground guy that's most un attractive on my face.
I blew off TM today. I'll do it tomorrow am early.

Our HS team is in state football championship game tomorrow night. I think a dd will go to game.
