Good morning Judy and everyone.
Credit: OP the whole week. Only lost .4 but the receptionist told me to take off my Fitbit giving me a .6 loss and a total of 10 lbs. Grateful for that. Planned, ate out, lived my life, stuck with my program. Imperfectly. Tracked every day.
Gratitude: For my old high school friend who I went to see yesterday. Reminds me of who I was, am. Kids and grandkids My home, job, friends, family.

Credit for an overdue closet cleaning. Even though things fit, I have not worn them in two years. I "donated" office clothing to a women's shelter that assists in outfitting for return to work.
Grateful for the boards this past week. Lots of great takeaways and reminders. Also grateful for some sunshine that is predicted for today.

Gratitude: expected beautiful day(if the wind will stay away) finally being able to schedule my knee injections My wonderful supportive DH,a board of supportive people and most of all learning about Beck from you great people.
Andi,Never say you only lost .4#.Every tenth is important.
Speaking of Beck, the online weekly focus sounds exactly like Beck this morning. If you have time check it out.

Becky: Thanks for the tip about the weekly focus. I went over to read it and watched the suggested "Plan Basics" video, which is well done. It is all like Beck and I'm so happy they are doing this approach since it has helped me so much.
Credit: Did my exercises and worked on my project. Grateful for my life and that things seem better in the morning.

@beckyw2016 bbbearsmom I also just watched some of the videos mentioned in Plan Basics on the Weekly page. Very well done and also similar to Beck. I checked on the host of the videos, Gary Foster, and it does appear he probably worked with Judith Beck since both are from the Philadelphia area and they are both psychologists dealing with obestity . He now works for WW as their Chief Science Officer. Glad to see these videos. Now, to get the members to see them! I think this is why we're seeing so much of these ideas in the meeting.

Wow. What happened? I went AWOL for two days and missed all the good posts on Friday and Saturday. I just read through everything all you all said. Very insightful.
For me, I never had any success with WW until after I retired. No more staff lunches. No more candy jar on the copier machine. No more sitting for endless hours in pointless meetings. No more commute. No more mindless exhaustion. Three days after I retired, we moved across country. All of a sudden I had time to sleep. Time to plan. Time to cook. Time to exercise. Time to track. And no more excuses.
We are having wintry mix outside today. I made a pot of beef stew this morning, and we had some for lunch. There will be enough left over for two more days later this week.
CREDIT ~~ Eating more points, and adding protein points to do it. ~~ Drinking more water. I'm making it a point to drink two full half-liter bottles of water every day, in addition to coffee, milk, and soup that are part of meals. ~~ The usual planning, tracking, exercise, WW meeting.
GRATITUDE ~~ DH is having some health issues and feeling vulnerable and mortal. I am telling him at least once an hour that I love him, and I am grateful for having him in my life. Together he and I will make the accommodations we have to make. And it's not a sacrifice but a privilege if it keeps him functioning and independent and able to get around longer.

Linda: That is the story I heard about how "Beck" creeped into the WW topics. Have to remind the leader about the online videos. What I did instead was post about the Weekly Focus and video and then posted a link to the Weekly Focus in her FB group.
Carol: Hugs for you and your husband.

The older I am, the more I appreciate my DH. And, the more he appreciates me too. Gratitude is right.

Lady Carol, How beautiful. What more could anyone ask for than to have one's life companion with them.....for always and always. DH and I will celebrate 56 years this June...I just think "how did the time go so quickly?" Marie
