This is a monthly thread for those of us who have a lot of weight to lose. The definition of “a lot” is something that is determined personally, so everyone who feels they have a lot of weight to lose is welcome to post here.
Please join us in offering support, checking in for accountability, help with questions, etc. We’re in this for the long haul.
We’d also love to hear from those of you who are maintaining a large loss. We need those tips to help us to keep the weight off once we lose it

Good afternoon
Hard to believe that we are already in July. AND I'm watching Christmas movies on the Hallmark channel.
cj59, I hope your WI was good. Thanks saying to give myself credit for my steps. I'm going to work this month on being more positive and liking myself more.
Off to eat some cabbage I steamed ;-)
Waving to all

Hi sunrose - Thank for starting our July thread Being positive and liking myself is something I really need to work on too. I hope you are successful at that. We'd probably all be better off if we were nicer to ourselves. I did lose some weight in July and I'm the same weight today as I was on Monday before my 2 day binge, so I'm happy. I worked really hard the last 4 days to eat lower points/calories to offset what I ate on Monday and Tuesday. Hope everyone else is doing well on their plans.

Hi Sunrose! It is crazy how time flies! The movies sound like fun! Hi cj! Thank you for sharing about your binge. It helps us all knowing we’re not alone. Sounds like you’re getting back on track though! Is Beck helping any? Or too soon to tell? I’m down 2.2 and on plan today. Even though I could kick myself for eating Oreos! I could’ve had a second soda with those points! Never again! Or at least not tomorrow!

I am beyond heartbroken this morning. My sisters granddaughter was killed yesterday. Maddie was only 3 years old. Her father shot her and then shot himself. Please pray for my family.

I've been off track for 2 days but I'm feeling strong again today, so hopefully I'll do well and can reset from being off plan. Hope everyone else is doing well on their plans.

Hello, I hope everyone had a Happy 4th! cj59, Wishing you well on your strong day! sunrose49, Understandable, I hope you can get back on track with your eating soon. I was doing well...and then not. I need to track EVERYTHING because when I have days like this I don't know how bad it was, and don't know how much wiggle room I have for the rest of the week. I'm just going to track 50 points for the last two days and hope it covers it. Unless anyone else has any suggestions?

Hello Everyone - Hope you all enjoyed the holiday and are doing well
sunrose - It's really tough to stay on track when we are dealing with emotional issues. I'm sure you'll get back there when you can, but it's most important to take care of yourself right now and I'm sure to be there for your family.
irisinnia - That's what I do even when I'm having a "crazy" eating day, just track it all. I'm sad to admit that I think I once had a 70+ point day
What I didn't want to get back to (like I did before I started losing weight) was pretend and lie to myself that I really wasn't eating that much. I try to be real with myself now and sometimes seeing it all written down shocks me back into getting on track. I hope that will work for you. I did pretty good yesterday, still overate a bit though. I know I'm going to be tempted with food today and I'm just not feeling very strong so who knows how that's going to go
I can't let it bother me I just have to deal with it and make sure that being off track doesn't go on too long.

Good morning
irisinnia, I need to get in the habit of tracking everything! Good for you doing.
cj59, I lie to myself all the time about how much I eat. I need to be real with myself too.
I have gained a couple unwanted pounds this week. I really need to stop. I'm giving myself a break this week (and next), but in the end it only makes more weight I have to lose. Going to try some new recipes out.

Just checking in for the day, even though I'm off track and not on plan. I have been trying to get in my fruits, vegetables and dairy though since those are always the first thing I stop eating when I go off plan. I also always try to get my water and exercise in and so far I've been doing that.
I'm planning to get some fresh vegetables this weekend, so hopefully those will help me get back on track.
Hope you are all doing well and have a great weekend!
