Happy Sunday Morning! I'm roasting a pack of Jennie-o spicy orange teriyaki tenderloins for my meal prep lunches this week. Smells good, so I'm hopeful lol. Kroger has the tenderloins on sale buy 1 get 1 free, so I picked up the orange one and a regular one just to roast as well. It sucks that most of the stores here don't carry whole turkeys except for holidays. I'd cook one a month all year around, easily lol.

Good morning
DotRen, luckily we can buy turkeys pretty much all year here. Hope the meal prep turns out yummy.
Waving to all
Starting today I am going to really work on getting my act together. I know I am a broken record on that subject, but all I can do it keep trying ;-)

Hello Everyone I haven't been around since I'm doing so badly and way off track. I'm hoping to get myself back on track soon. DotRen - I've never seen that flavor of Jennie-O turkey tenderloins, but I buy the Applewood Smoked ones when I can find them and put them in the freezer. They bake really well and give me several meals.

Yesterday was the start of a new week for me. I've always liked Sunday start - it just works for me. I ate 8 of 49 weekly points, so that was a pretty good day! Today...I'm going to be out of dailies by lunch, but I could probably have up to 6 points for dinner and still be on plan, so now I just have to figure out what's for dinner! I'm thinking of picking up a rotisserie chicken, fruit, veggies, and some dinner rolls. I probably won't be able to fit in the dinner roll, but it will satisfy the starchy carb needs of those not on a diet. It's going really great, actually. I think it's the Beck Review... and carrots. I've been gobbling them instead of gobbling things with points. lol I hope you all have a great day!

It was pretty tasteless and disappointing lol. I Warmed it in some orange peel, truvia brown sugar and soy sauce and that helped a lot.

Good morning
cj59, good to see you. I'm off the wagon and have been for way too long.
DotRen, too bad on the chicken.
Irisinnia, you are doing good!
I was going to be better yesterday, but failed. I am going to the Mall in a bit to return something and while there I will walk the whole Mall.

sunrose49 , Great plan! Walking is my favorite exercise, besides dancing. DotRen , It's great to experiment! And who knows, you might love it with the right tweaks. So... Today, I earned 4 points doing Zumba and, assuming the snack monster doesn't appear at 2 pm, it's going to be a smooth day! I've been brainwashing myself by looking at dresses. I love dresses, but the bod right now... many would be unflattering. Today I'm wearing a flattering dress, and did my make-up too, so I'm feeling good about cutting back on the food, because dresses are fun. More dresses! Also, that Beck review. I was going to eat a whole personal pizza at lunch, but in the review today you're supposed to leave food on your plate. And I know the whole thing is overdoing it, so I am going to eat half, take the other half home, and see how it feels. Wishing you all luck and a great Tuesday!

Good morning
Irisinnia, WTG eating half the pizza and taking the other half home. I love long dresses in the summer time with flat sandals or flip flops ;-)
I was so horrible yesterday with eating. The scale keeps going up. I feel out of control. Need to turn this around. Leaving today and will be back here on Sunday. I will do my best. Then really need to get my act together.
Waving to all.....we can do this!

Hi everyone! I just joined WW this week, but I did it before back in 2011. Time to get back at it haha. I don’t really know what my goal weight or anything is. I’ve always been overweight so I don’t know what weight looks and feels best. I just know it isn’t my current weight! I’m aiming for about a 140-150 pound loss right now, and I guess I’ll go from there!
I really like forums and finding good communities, and I found this place on google. Here’s hoping! 🙂

Hello Everyone - Hope you are all doing well Welcome fever89 - This is a great thread with a lot of support. I lost over 150 pounds from 2015-2017 (used the old WW Momentum plan on my own) and have been struggling to maintain the loss since then. It has really helped me to have the message boards to come to for advice and just to be honest when I'm struggling, but also to get kudos when I'm doing well. I hope you like this version of WW. sunrose - We can both get back track, I know it. Hope you enjoy your time away. irisinnia - I think using clothes as motivation really works well for some of us. How nice that you have dresses that make you feel good I was doing the current Beck review too, but then quit when I got off track. Hopefully I can get back on track and catch up with the group. I've done Beck a few times and it has really helped me. DotRen - Sorry your turkey tenderloin wasn't that good. Look for the Applewood Smoked one sometime, I really liked it. I'm still way off track, but in the back of my mind I can hear myself saying to get done with this and start eating right again. I have at least continued to get in my 8 cups of water a day, at least one fruit and one vegetable and some dairy. Also I do my walking everyday. So I haven't completely given up, but I have to get the junk food under control - and out of the house and keep it out. Hope anyone else checking in is doing well on their plan!

sunrose49, Thank you! And dress buddies! You'll definitely get back on track. We can do it! fever89, Welcome! I don't really know what my ultimate goal weight will be either. We'll see when we get there, one pound at a time! I'm on PointsPlus, started in 2013...then stopped...going again! Hope to see you posting! cj59, Walking and 8 cups of water? You're doing great! That little voice in the back of your mind is right, you're going to get back on track soon. I can't believe I'm still on plan. The snacking got a little crazy today, but I think it's because I splurged on a sugary breakfast and it just kind of snowballed. Not that it was bad at all compared to what I normally do, just a couple mini candies and three oreos. Back to my usuals tomorrow. Feels so good! That's the odd part about being on plan. It's definitely hard, but somehow, not as hard as you think?? Hoping the next three days go smoothly and I get a good WI. I really need it. Good luck on your plans everyone!

Hello everyone! Checking in! I just tracked for today and all the daily and activity points are gone. lol I still have tomorrow. So... we'll see if I can manage a dailies only day. That's a big if. But that's a pretty great first week in my book! Not perfection, just progress! New points on Sunday! Hopefully the WI is pretty! I'll post whether it was good bad or ugly. Good luck to everyone on your plans!

Weighed in today! Down 2lb! Hell yeah!
I went grocery shopping for the first time since starting WW again. My new best friend is the scanner on the app. Things I thought wouldn’t be too bad were actually PRETTY DANG BAD and things I thought for sure would be terrible we’re... not that bad 😂 it helped me make some better food decisions.
I forgot how much I love the points system instead of tracking several macros. It’s easier to categorize foods as Worth It and Not Worth It when it’s just one number.
I’m also excited because OTTER POPS. I love otter pops, and they’re only 1pt per pop. An exciting treat that won’t bust my points!
Now, the fettuccine alfredo and wine I had last night.... grateful for my weeklies!

Hello Everyone - Hope you are all enjoying your weekend irisinnia - Hope you can survive on your daily points today. I had to do that a few times and it is tough, but I'm sure you can be creative with fruits and vegetables fever89 - congratulations on the weekly loss. That's great that you can use the scanner while shopping. I'm not really very tech savvy but I can see that those who are can really take advantage of the new technologies to help with weight loss. I agree with you about categorizing foods as worth it or not worth it based on points. When I'm really going strong I can pass up anything that has a lot of points and is just not worth using them. I'm still eating badly but I am getting in my exercise and water each day. I also make sure to get at least one fruit and vegetable and dairy, although I really should be getting more. Whenever I start eating junk I usually give up the healthy foods, so making myself eat some of them each day is still a "win" for me. I hope to get back on track soon. Hope everyone else checking in is doing well on their plans.

fever89 Way to go! Congratulations! The scanner is super helpful! I have one on my Ultimate Food Value Diary app, and use it frequently. I agree with you that points are a lot easier, which is why I've never fully switched over to calories. Enjoy those otter pops! I use to eat the fudgsicles, not sure how many points those are on the new plan though. cj59 Little wins add up to big ones! And can I just say that it really shows how much work you have put in over the years. You have all these good habits that you're still maintaining even when you're in a slump. It's very impressive and inspiring. (I would just throw in the towel and probably eat myself sick). WI today! Down 1.1! I didn't stick to just my dailies yesterday, I went 7 over and into the red, but 1.1? Thank you! I am sitting here munching carrots because I'm out of points today, early dinner messed me up. I was going to eat more, but I asked myself "How hard do you really want the rest of the week to be?" Nope! Carrot snacks will do! Wish me luck on week two! Good luck to all of you on your plans!
