This thread was started before the dawn of time by Amazons who needed to compare their stats with other Amazons. Over time it grew into a community of incredible women who try to keep their spirits in the clouds and their feet on the ground, moving toward health. Most of us start at 5'7 and go up from there, from young singles to wise and lively elders of the tribe. We welcome newcomers who are willing to be kind and share a bit of their lives.

A hasty good morning as I have just enough time to start things up before heading to shower. DD and Three will be here at 8 to head to his Dr. and I'm tagging along, mostly for a Target run.
So, heads up, eyes bright, and purpose in every step.
To echo T...strength to all.

Good morning, CaTs. Having coffee and preparing for am WeWa mtg. Just dropped Mick off for hours of beauty - a bath and a big shave.
So many details about the wedding but it was wonderful. The bride was happy and gorgeous. Family present and accounted for. We had a lovely, tiring time. I napped two hours Sunday and I am generally not a napper. My DSis is now back in NC, leaving behind plenty of offers of help re move.
DH def has NC employment; he is transferring w his current company. He is very happy and relieved, to have interview/search burden removed. Let the clearing out and packing up begin. Doubleyikes.
Ok, couple errands, Wheaties to eat figuratively for this mtg. Waves to all, best Tues to each of you

Good morning Nancy, Andrea, Shari and all to come. Work is still crazy for me, but I'm hanging in there. I woke up to sunshine and the promise of a warmer day today - 60s - and am feeling pretty motivated to get my much more wobbly posterior in gear once more. New month, fresh start, better discipline with regards to getting enough sleep and water and all those things that make us successful. Fight Fat February!! I am vowing to return to WW meetings beginning this Saturday to take my lumps and get going again. Who is with me??
Shari, that's great news about DH's employment! Are you disclosing your final landing location yet? I'm so excited at the thought of having a CAT within driving distance!
Gotta run for now. Have a great Tuesday everyone!

I'm with ya Susan! I'm going to be passing on some drinks & sweets and I'm going to be getting my steps in each day! It's so hard sometimes but we can do it. I'm often reminded of what Mrs Kate says. When you know you have a bigger meal coming up you can always scale back during the day if you want. I've had too many big meals strung together & the scale shows it. But to be fair it is winter & love the winter comfort foods. But soon I'll be in my shorts in Florida so the time is NOW to get back on the wagon. I wonder how Colleen is doing with her new goals in mind. I got a text from Frieda last night. I just want to give her a hug. I don't think I've told you ladies that DS2 got engaged. It won't be till Summer of 2018. He's been on his job with OH door for over a year now & his fiancé got her teacher's degree. He's growing up (a little). Also DSS & DIL are having a baby in September. So exciting! We got a look at the new fifth wheel last night. It's like a house! So tall & big. I'm going to love it. Nancy- enjoy your Target run. There's lots of good sales out there. Shari- was the wedding for a DN? You looked gorgeous in the pics.
I had a couple eggs for breakfast & I'm having a cup of tomato soup w/ swiss cheese & crackers for lunch. We've ate out the last couple nights so I suppose I need to actually make dinner tonight. lol Have a good one ladies.

Good Almost Afternoon, Long and Lovelies!
Got busy at work, and almost forgot to stop by! Have a last minute spreadsheet to coordinate - what joy!
I'm not sure I have a lot to add today....mom has her scope tomorrow and fingers are crossed for that. Apparently the doctor thinks it is just some lumpy fat or something. Sounds good to me!
So nice to see Frieda stopping by. Hugs!!!
Melinda, I'm with you on loving cold winter comfort food. It's tough to eat a salad when you are shivering!!
Susan, Fit Fat February sounds perfect!
Shari, wow!!!! The move is now officially impending, yes? Which are of NC?
Nancy, a consignment shop sounds fun. There can be so many good finds there.
Andrea, I hope your paper piles didn't miraculous double.....
Alright, back to the salt mines. We had to explain that phrase to DS last night - it was funny.
Hugs to all!!! Aloha!

I've been home about an hour. Three is holding steady, according to his Dr. Port looks good. She gave the go-ahead to gradually increase the volume in the bolus feedings, but not at the expense of his eating solids by mouth. Lots of great sales for boys' clothing, plus I bought some new workout wear, at Target. The bird buffet and squirrel bowl have been filled. Supper planned.
Congrats to Mr. Shari on the gainful employment!

Quick howdy to all.
We've received good feedback on the meeting from last night -- relief! I sure am tired today. Post-school meeting today (not too late), then another late night on Friday. Saturday seems a long way off right now.
DH managed to get exactly the place we wanted for spring break. We'll pick DS up in NM and head there. I love having a trip to look forward to.
Shari, now it's REAL! I am thrilled for you both. I envy your get up and go. And I am glad you had fun at the elegant wedding this weekend.
Susan, will you have to do a lot of prep to sell the house? When are you planning on putting it on the market? Shari, why don't you buy it so we can converge there. : )
Melinda, are you familiar with the anime film, Howl's Moving Castle? When you describe your new vehi-house, that's what I think of. It's a charming movie. Gosh, big news in the family way! Drat, got to get to a meeting.

That's a lot of walking, Martha. I'm thinking my soles would have been tired about then.
Thank you for prayers for Dd3. I've seen her the last two days and she was feeling much better today.
I'm hoping to go walk outside tomorrow. My gd who was sick will be back tomorrow. If SBJ also comes, I'll need to go back to the double stroller. Tomorrow is the last day for a while that will be conducive to walking outside.
Nancy, why does three still have the tube? Is there a digestive disorder, or just not able to consume enough calories/nutrients?
I'm finding the bed looking very inviting. I'll be back tomorrow
