Just wondering, was Guiliani always as slimy as he is now? What a scumbag! At one point, during and after 9/11, he was called "America's Mayor". However, I read just recently that his actions during 9/11 weren't so much heroic as self serving. So yes, he's probably always been a scumbag. I somehow wonder though if maybe he has a secret agenda where he is trying to take Trump down.

Hi girls! Just dropping by.
Will this nightmare of a presidency ever end? Remember that old song something about someone left the cake out in the rain? Will we ever be able to find the recipe again...
This is what I worry about the most. I know we always had our problems with different presidents but nothing like this. I just hope the damage isn't permanent. Perhaps Obama was the last of the very best.

Hi Allie! Welcome back. Haven't seen you for quite awhile. I think that like you, we all worry that this JA has destroyed so much of what actually DID make America great that we will never be able to put the pieces back together again. I can't imagine that the country will ever again be the same. He made blind hatred acceptable to a lot of people, and once the genie is out of the bottle it's not likely it will ever go back.

It's easy to see why the JA and Guiliani are attracted to each other. What's that old saying about birds of a feather flocking together? Although in this case that is being very unfair to birds. Pat's right that you can just see the slime oozing out of their pores.

The JA is scared, and he's lashing out in a panic.
"Bad boys, bad boys whatcha gonna do? Whatcha gonna do when they come for you?"
If I were Don Jr or Jared, I would definitely not be resting very comfortably because before he goes down, the JA will definitely throw them under the bus. Cohen seems to be smart enough to have figured out that while he might have once been willing to take a bullet for the JA, the JA wouldn't cross the street to save him.

So if collusion is not a crime, does that mean that he's admitting to collusion?

So if collusion is not a crime, does that mean that he's admitting to collusion? It's very carefully worded, lol. He says he did not commit collusion, but if he did, it's not a crime.

LOL Luanne. The whole thing is just so insane. And never once did Mueller use the word collusion. The term a prosecutor would use is conspiracy.

Thanks Joyce! I don't post much anymore. But will stop back in from time to time. Looks like some of the old group is no longer here. Good to see you're still keeping the thread going. I'll catch you all later. Keep on keeping on.

I've not heard any news this morning -- I have the DGKs everyday this week. That's much healthier and much more fun than the news ever is. I did see a headline which said "Hillary Clinton steps up her involvement in the mid-terms." Didn't stop to read the article, but the first thought that popped into my mind was that I'm not sure that is a good thing. I like Hillary, but I think the Democratic party is staying too tied to the old guard. Hillary, Nancy, Chuck, Joe . . . their time is past I think, and the party needs to be focusing on new blood, fresh thinking, and moving forward. What do you think?

Those 3-D guns are scary!!! The guy who was putting the blueprints out there said he wanted to make sure that everyone could have every type of gun there is. How does he look himself in the mirror every morning? That just makes my blood run cold. Of course not everyone has access to a 3-D printer, but like all technology that will become easier and easier. Besides, it only takes one printer to churn out guns for a LOT of people.

It's all about the $$ -forget the death and destruction it WILL cause. Even if you take away the potential for terrorists, school shooters, etc.. you're making a real gun that can be customized to look like a toy. There are already too many incidents of police shooting people because they (the police) can't tell if a gun is real; too many cases of children thinking a real gun is a toy and shooting themselves or others.
You know what's ironic? Watching recent "futuristic" or sci-fi movies, they all have security codes to prevent weapons being printed (or whatever the future machine is) by just anyone. Lost in space (netflix), one I watched yesterday called the cloverfield paradox, Alien Covenant - all have security standards to not allow it. Just crossed my mind with this recent development.
