Greetings: I scanned the thread topics and found this one. I was curious ...
And, in response to your question, yes, I take Prolia injections. I've just finished my 5th or 6th one. I have had no side effects. I know there is concern about the first injection because of the uncertainty of each body, so, yes, respect that. But now I have more problems getting it scheduled than I do with the injection itself.

Thank you for the reply. My insurance company approved it, but the reviews worried me so much that I called my doctor and declined. I have osteopini and have decided to eat more foods with calcium and vitamin D. Will see how that works. Intend to eat more salmon, tuna, sardines, eggs, spinach and green beans. Praying my bones stay stable.

My doctor said the people with good reviews do not post, only people that had problems. Hope I made the right decision. Right now I am taking care of my husband with Alzheimer and emphysema and cannot deal with side effects.

Aw Bev I am sorry you have your hands so full right now. My dad has been getting Prolio injections for years now with no side effects. I agree with your doctor. Best of luck.

Hi Bev, I respect your decision on the Prolia. Life does get overwhelming. As you settle into your new routine and get comfortable with it, perhaps you can revisit this for yourself.
