No wonder he thinks flipping should be outlawed. This whole fiasco is beginning to sound like a gymnastics meet. Sounds like Sessions is getting tired of playing the part of the JA's whipping boy too, and as the noose draws tighter around the JA he becomes more emboldened to "stand up" to the JA. Of course, we all know Sessions' ultimate goal is just to look out for himself, but it's comical to see. Wonder how much, if any, liability SHS, KAC, Spicer, and others have if they knowingly lied for the JA? Probably no liability as long as they weren't under oath so knowingly lying to the American people will get a free pass.

They'll get a pass. Think of all the Lawyers getting hired to make sure that happens. Their final excuse will be, that they stayed close to JA to protect the country from his insanity or some dumb excuse like that.
One Jury member was a hold out, otherwise Manafort would have been guilty of all 18 counts. The lady juror who is speaking out, is a JA supporter, but she still felt no one should be above the law. She also said she would vote for JA in 2020 ...I do not understand these people with all the evidence in front of their noses about what kind of person JA really is.

...I do not understand these people with all the evidence in front of their noses about what kind of person JA really is. Me either Linda. For the life of me I can't understand why anyone would willingly go along with all this knowing that the facts are right in front of you. It makes absolutely no sense at all, at least not to me. But most of those people only get their "news" from Fox, and Fox is nothing but an outright propaganda machine. And some of his followers don't even get their news from Fox, they just listen to other deluded souls like themselves. As for those in his immediate sphere, they go along because they're in it for the money either that they are receiving now or that they believe they have a chance of landing in the future. It's all about self-advancement for them. Only they're making a very risky bet. They may very well become a pariah if the full truth or even the majority of the truth ever comes out.

I've seen a few on air interviews with current Trump supporters. To a person, they say they don't care about his affairs, it's only natural that he would want to cover them up; when a woman was told "but he lies", she said "everyone lies." The reporter desperately said, "but, he's the President." The woman said "he's only human." They do not care about or refuse to acknowledge any criminal behavior. As far as morality, it doesn't seem to play any part in their thinking.
One guy said Trump was trying to spare Melania by paying off the women. I can't stand it.
If backed into a corner, you get "but Obama", "but Hilary", etc. etc.

I would agree that while his affairs are sleazy, probably like many of you I could care less about them. What I do care about is the fact that he breaks the law with impunity. He is completely destroying the very fabric of our country, and he is doing it all for his own personal ego. Those self-righteous, holier-than-thou people who felt Bill Clinton should be drawn and quartered for his affair(s) suddenly sing a completely different tune when it comes to this JA. That does bother me. The sheer hypocrisy of it all.

If it's possible, he's becoming even more unhinged. Clearly he's panicky, and he's striking out in all directions while sending signals everyone can clearly see to Manafort to keep quiet and he'll get that pardon. Guiliani is just as slimy as he is. Per Guiliani if the JA were impeached the citizens would revolt. Well, not this citizen. Maybe those who are so enamored they can't see their hand in front of their face. But they're getting enough talking points out there that slowly the base is starting to speak out at least among the idiots I know on my FB feed. This morning two people I used to think were intelligent (both are well educated) were spouting the line that if it is a campaign finance violation to payoff the JA's women, then why does Congress pay off such allegations. Well, it's not right when Congress does it either with taxpayer funds IMO, but totally unrelated to these campaign finance laws being broken. However, I just skip over the posts. These people are so far down the rabbit hole, you can't have an actual discussion with them. Just one more example of the hold he has on his base.

The news just keeps getting worse for the JA. Now the CFO of his organization has been granted immunity. Looks like he's going to have another bad weekend. Hope it doesn't affect his golf game.
--------- "Weisselberg was subpoenaed last month to testify as part of the ongoing criminal investigation into Trump's former attorney Michael Cohen, the Journal reported.
At the time, a former Trump Organization employee told CNN that Weisselberg being subpoenaed was the "ultimate nightmare scenario for Trump" because Weisselberg knows "anything and everything" about the finances of the Trump Organization. "Allen knows where all the financial bodies are buried. Allen knows every deal, he knows every dealership, he knows every sale, anything and everything that's been done -- he knows every membership. Anything you can think of," said the person, who was not making any specific allegations about the Trump Organization's finances." taken from article on CNN's website
