Maybe Weisselberg will be today's Mark Felt. What exactly will it take for Rs to take a stand???

Shock & Awe is another great movie about the coverup & lies that led to the Iraq War & the journalists who got that story right. But no one believed them til it was too late.

Both sound like movies I would like to see. Looked for the Mark Felts movie on Netflix last night, but didn't find it. I don't get Starz. I'll keep looking for both of them, and eventually will run across them. Writing down the titles to remember. LOL! Remember the days when we didn't have to write things down in order to remember them? It creeps up on us all!  Anne did you see it on a Netflix DVD or did you stream it from Netflix? One thing the JA probably likes about Senator McCain is his death has deflected the news away from him temporarily. Or maybe he doesn't like that. He enjoys being in the spotlight. Have an eye doctor appointment this morning with a new opthamalogist. Hope he will be able to tell me why I am having so much pain and discomfort with my eyes, and that he can help. Naturally the day of my appointment it is all much better. Go figure! My suspicion is that it is all being caused by stress, and if that's the case probably not a lot he's going to be able to do. But at least maybe he can tell me if my suspicion is correct. BBL . . . |

White House American flags no longer flying at half-staff for McCain. The usual procedure is to have them at half staff until the internment of the honoree. As others have said, how petty of you-know-who.

Joyce, I rented and streamed The Post from Amazon Prime Video.
Nah, I don't think I want to contribute to the cohen gofundme. LOL...But, there will be those that will give their last nickel to help him.
Honestly, the raising of the flag at the WH says more about JA than anything could. Where are McCain's fellow Senators on this issue??? Where is Lindsey Graham, McCain's friend?!?!

That disgusts me about the flag at the WH. It seems only Democrats are willing to speak out towards the disrespect being shown to McCain and his family. What does that tell you about Republicans? As for Lindsey Graham -- not any words to adequately express my thoughts.

Back from the eye doctor, and my eyes are numb. He inserted plugs into the corners of both eyes. I had never heard of that before. Sure hope it helps!
Just shaking my head in amazement at the callousness of this WH and the Republicans who stand by and do nothing about.
