I heard this morning, that there is a tape of JA calling Eric the R word. Now if that is true & that gets out, can you imagine how that makes Eric feel. Not that I care in the least, but still calling a son the R word is pretty disgusting. Also, just heard that JA wants to have Jeff Sessions issue a warrant for the arrests of Omarosa.....good grief!!!...I saw Omarosa's interview this morning on MSNBC. She said she is going to be a whistleblower & she has lots more things to say & tapes to back it up. Wonder how long it will be before JA has her muzzled legally. ?

I don't have a problem with them removing security clearance from FORMER employees. That would be like someone saying "Ok I don't work here anymore, but I'm keeping the keys to the store and the passwords to the computer system". It makes sense to remove these things. There has been a lot about this on the news this morning. The reason these people still have a security clearance is for several reasons. One is for a smooth transition to the new administration. Another is that some of them are called upon, due to their experience, to confer to various matters.
What I found really interesting is, that although Trump DOES have the power to remove security clearances, there is a list of reasons why this can be done, and there is a protocol that is supposed to be followed. Protocol wasn't followed and the "reasons" given, both by Trump and Sarah Huckabee Sanders (which were different by the way) aren't on that list. One of the news guys said that if Brennan chooses to sue the White House he would probably win.

Good article, Linda! All these real patriots, and then we have this complete idiot in the WH who thinks the country is his own personal fiefdom.
By the way, I remember my transistor radio too. Mine was blue, but it had the brown leather cover with the wrist strap. I would fall asleep listening to it every night tuned to WLS in Chicago. I couldn't get the signal from Chicago during the day, but could at night. That was back when songs like "Up On The Roof" were at the top of the billboard charts. I too come from a small little town, and it felt very sophisticated to be listening to a Chicago radio station.
"When this old world starts getting me down And people are just too much for me to face I climb way up to the top of the stairs And all my cares just drift right into space . . ."

Just like Nixon - having an enemy list. Absolute power corrupts absolutely.

So the 40% who would vote for Donald no matter what, does not care the way he pizzes their money away?
"President Trump's military parade has racked up quite the bill. A defense official told Reuters on Thursday that the event could cost about $92 million.
Trump earlier this year instructed the Pentagon to organize a military parade for Veterans Day, and preliminary estimates pegged the cost around $12 million. That number has quickly risen, as White House budget director Mick Mulvaney first ticked it up to $30 million and internal Pentagon memos fretted about the expense of a "heavy air component at the end of the parade."
The new budget — three times as large as Mulvaney's estimate — hasn't been approved by Defense Secretary James Mattis and could still be changed, notes Reuters. But Mulvaney said that the taxpayer-funded act of patriotism would come from money that Congress has already appropriated. CNBC reports that $40 million will come from the Pentagon, while $42 million will come from other agencies like the Department of Homeland Security.
Memos from the Pentagon's 50-member party planning committee show that the parade will "include wheeled vehicles only, no tanks," in an effort to "minimize damage to local infrastructure." Other parade features include helicopters, fighter jets, and historical military equipment to be displayed alongside 5,000 troops wearing uniforms that represent the "past, present, and future forces." The parade will march through Washington, D.C., in an attempt to "top" the Bastille Day parade in Paris that inspired Trump in the first place."
I can just see it now, at the end of the parade, Donald and crew are in a rose covered float throwing thorns to the crowd.

I am assuming the R word is (cringing as I type it:-(:-(...”retard”...Ugh! This word sends shivers up my spine since I heard so many kids call Jason & some of his friends that word way back in grade & middle school. This tape with this word is not confirmed, so it could be nothing but I just wouldn’t put it past JA to use it. Remember when he mocked the physically handicapped reporter at one of his rallies.

Good link Anne! I hope our good angels are hard at work behind the scenes, because they don't seem to be very evident at the forefront these days.
The JA has done something I approve by cancelling that stupid military parade. The whole idea was utterly ridiculous to begin with, and just something to massage his massive ego.

RNC compares Ocasio-Cortez to Venezuelan Dictator. These mid-term elections are getting downright nasty. I shouldn't be surprised, but somehow, I keep hoping things will be better. Silly Me! I mean comparing this young progressive woman to a 'dictator" is what seems the norm for the Republicans these days. Taking a page from JA play book & go after women in any way they can to convince their supporters that women like Ocasio-Cortez are unAmerican.

How disappointing that Jim Mattis is blaming the media for the cancellation of the Military Parade. I thought he was above all this JA media obsession!!!! UGH!

Taking a page from JA play book & go after women in any way they can to convince their supporters that women like Ocasio-Cortez are unAmerican. It's chilling how ugly politics have become, and the uglier it gets the better the Republicans seem to like it. Democrats are not blameless, but certainly I see the most vileness coming from the Rs and it has been that way now for several years. Now with the JA to encourage them, they are going full throttle with hate. Lying for them has become standard practice. The half-way reasonable Rs like Kasich have no hope within the current party.

I agree that Kasich doesn't have a snowball chance in hell of becoming the a nominee for President. I don't agree with most of his politics, but he just seems to be a man with a good heart trying to do the right thing. Maybe I'm wrong about the guy, but, gosh,he is so much better than what's currently out there in the GOP these days. Its just nasty nasty nasty & yes, the Dems are not blameless either, but boy, IMHO the GOP of late has gone way over the top in defending this President. Now they are trying to circumvent normal procedure & speed up the process of getting Kavanaugh confirmed to SC. What a sham!!! What the heck is up with Rand Paul? ? He wants to lift sanctions off of some Russians. He has truly become JA & Putin's puppet. !!!!!!
