Okay mac for a Google drive picture these are the steps. Click "Reply" the top right button on the text box. Click the "</>" button. I think the last option is Google drive. Follow these directions: How do I embed a Google Driveβ’ document? In the document you wish to embed, go to File -> Publish to the web. In the Link tab, click the Publish button. This will only appear on documents still set as private. When the document is published, copy the link the page will provide into the box above. What types of documents are supported? You can embed documents, spreadsheets, forms and presentations.

Also, always check to see if there is comment in the bottom right of your posts before you try and fix something. If itsrad or I have taken care of it already you will see "edited by Rad or Deb" in the bottom right corner. Just mentioning this because I had already gone in and fixed your link yesterday before you went back and edited it again π€£
mac ,, I am putting an edit on this post so you can see what Deb is referring to. (This is itsrad)

DebDoesWW,, I do see the edit in the lower right hand corner, thanks. Still trying to figure out how to publish pictures I've taken with my camera. I've been working on it using your instructions above. I have to have some work on my computers so will ask tech guy how to do pictures if I don't figure it out. π

The number one thing is that they have to be made public on the internet mac. So that means either making your FB public and posting on there or through one of the public picture platforms like Imgur, Photobucket, etc.

I really am not sure mac . You might want to ask on the general board. I know fullmahina uses one, she is always posting pics. π I think Mike recommended Shutterfly and that's what I went with. It's free and really easy to use. Easily upload your photos from your phone or computer. mac, I'd love to see pics of your gardens!

fullmahina, I installed Shutterfly by your directions but it doesn't work. I also saw where Mike recommended Imgor, I installed it as well and it works on my end but couldn't get it to bring it up on the PB site, not sure why. I will continue to work on it, also, have to have guy service my computer so plan to ask him. I have a lot of pictures of gardens, beautiful sunsets and our town that I'd like to post.. We have a beautiful wall of flowers on our bank building donated by a local lady in her late husbands name that we love that I'd like to share. I enjoy all your posts about gardens and those cute chickens!!! π€

mac , when you are trying to add a photo you have to this forum you have to do it through the "Reply" page, NOT the box that says "Post Quick Reply." When you are typing your post, hit the "Reply" button in the upper right hand corner of the "Quick Reply" box. That will bring you to a larger reply box with a lot of options on the taskbar above the box. In that taskbar you will see a little icon that looks like a little mountain. If you hover your cursor over it it will show the words "insert image." Go to wherever your pictures are (you have to use a photo service---trying to transfer from your computer files won't work) and click on the photo you want to put into your post. Right click it and then click "Copy Image Address." You cannot do "Copy Image" like you can in the normal world, lol. Now go back to the post you are composing in the "Reply" box (which says "Create Post" in the upper left hand corner) and hit that photo icon. A box will pop up that says "Insert Image." Choose "Image URL" and paste the image address you copied from your photo in that area. I don't know why they put the "http" in there but it will highlight when you click it on and disappear when you put your own image address in there. When you click on "Insert Image," the button on the lower right side of that little box, your photo should pop up, like my little tree frog here. If you find your photo is too big, click on the BBCode tab and look for the "100%." Highlight and change it to whatever percentage you want. You have to change each individual photo if you put multiples in. Honestly, it's not the greatest photo insertion tool but it does work. Eventually, lol. The one huge mistake I made at the beginning (and why I had to ask for Mike's help) was that I was just hitting "copy image" on things I wanted to put up here and nothing happened. I was following my own directions here to make sure I didn't screw up and I got my frog to appear---hope this works for you (I am using a laptop right now).

mac I can tell you that the words "South Beach" need to be removed from that attempt. ^ If you are using copy and paste just try to grab the part starting with https, if you can't do that, when you paste it, put your cursor at the word https and go in and use the left arrow (delete) to delete everything before it.

Ok... messing and messing trying to help others as well and here's what I have. Not all sites that you have to sign into with your pictures will let you share them. You cannot share directly from your computer. If you're using facebook, your facebook page has to be public. Shutterfly is not a great option and I haven't figured out if it's possible. If you have Instagram (and so I assume also Indiegogo, Kickstarter or Googledrive) and your photo is Public, Right click on the photo you want to post to the message board and then copy the IMAGE ADDRESS. Go to the message board post by hitting [reply], not quick reply. At the top, 2nd from the right is an Icon [</>]. Click on that, then on the instagram logo, right click in the URL box then click on Paste [or control+V]. Then click on Imbed. A couple of great options appear to be Pinterest and/or Photobucket (you can use this for other public photos as well):
Right click on the address photo you want to post to the message board and copy the IMAGE ADDRESS. Go to the message board by hitting [reply], not quick reply. At the top, 8th from the right is a photo icon. Make sure the text "http://" is highlighted so your text will copy over it, right click in the Image URL box then click on Paste [or control+V]. (If the Http:// shows up twice you can just delete the first part). You can then add additional text you want in the photo under Alt Text or leave it blank, and then click on [insert image]. While you are in "create post", you can change the size of your photo:There are two tabs at the bottom of "create post" [preview] and [BBCode] If you are in [BBCode], you will 1st have to click on the [Preview] tab (I know, redundant, but it works this way.) Click on the [BBCode] tab and and it will show where your image is going to be placed. Somewhere in that line it will show max-width:100%. Change the percentage to how big you want the photo. You can go back and forth to [preview] and [BBCode] to make sure it's the size you want. Thank you To DebDoesWW , and to Zazzle, whom I never had the pleasure of greeting. (I posted here rather than the other thread DebDoesWW, because it was a sticky ... all of my others were practice.)
