fullmahina, yep, I got that email, too. I my case I thought the email was from someone who was a caregiver to a DF who passed in 2014, and I was briefly confused because I know he never had my email address—I still get text greetings from him on some holidays.

I checked out Noom also. I think WW may see this as their biggest competition. They are definitely trying to get everyone to be app only, use the E-tools for everything and have an "on line community".
I really think they are going the way of Noom.
Not for me. I went back to paper tracking.

I went back to paper tracking. I'm also a paper tracker. There's something about literally writing it down, not typing it in, that reinforces it and cements it into my brain. Roz

...I have done Jenny Craig quite a few times in the past and always welcomed the structure of the plan although I rarely went whole-hog with the program, usually substituting meals with cheaper comparable store-bought items. IMHO JC quality has gone into the toilet and it's prices have gone through the roof. They also have a policy now where you MUST do the complete program, to the letter, with only a few substitutions of food allowed. They're also planning to introduce DNA testing to supposedly personalize your food plan, although with the limited (and sometimes honestly AWFUL) foods they offer I am not sure how that's going to work out. Another gimmick, I think. In contrast to WW and other programs, JC has absolutely NO mobile apps and only a minimal online presence---a community forum that is heavily overseen by JC, a FB page, and a bunch of articles on their site. JC is a sorry mess, IMHO. I tried Jenny Craig for a few months. To this day I get a little nauseated when I think about their food. One day I had a fat free hot dog - not a Jenny Craig item - and my person (what were they called again?) yelled at me. It only had 100 calories! It was less than any of their food items. Ridiculous. I always refused to buy their breakfast items because I had a routine at the time. I think it irked my person(?).
