Initially, I wanted to try this technique in which you leave the squash whole rather than struggling to cut it up and remove the seeds while raw. It was too big to close the lid on my Instant Pot, though. Instead, I warmed it for three minutes in the micro to make cutting easier, then cut it in half, right through the middle so you get two bowl shapes rather than two long footballs. Scooped out the seeds. Put trivet in IP with 1.5 cups of water, set for manual, sealed, 8 minutes and NPR. It was so good and the strands really fork out easily - when it's cut into two rounds, you see that's the way the strands grow inside the squash.
