it lists WP left to the left of how many DP are left for the day. @beckyw2016, I have never noticed that number! LOL! I only pay attention to the center number and the one to the right "daily used"! So funny! It says I have 21 Weekly Points. Because I never use them, I skipped seeing that number. Thanks for telling me how to find it. I'm like you. I frequently hit about 1200 calories a day but it's may only about 25-26 SP. I think if I really tried to get 30 SP daily, that could be 1500 calories. As a short older woman, I just don't think I need 1500 calories daily. I'm not sure the numbers listed on the Wendie program would help me but I do think the theory is a good one. Alternating higher point days with lower points keeps the metabolism guessing.

linda72, @beckyw2016, pbnj, janicel4, surfgirl, Sorry, I've been busy lately. The ladies in my maintenance group (now on FB) are all very experienced WWers. All except one has been maintaining longer than I have, and I've been maintaining 5 years. They would agree that you can eat more total points in a week if you stagger your points - that is, you have a high day, some medium days, and a couple of low days. I've never tried to adapt Wendie to SP. When I started using the Wendie plan, I increased my weekly points usage by at least 30 points, and I lost just as well or better than before. Of course, when I started Wendie, I was in that slow loss stage close to goal. But it was nice to be able to eat more and still lose. The down side to Wendie is that you have to keep up with your points allotment for each day and that means a little more thought since not every day is the same. And those low days after the high days are really tough!

Just a note as I don't get over to these boards very much anymore. I believe the count shown on the first page is geared toward Points Plus--not sure anymore. It is difficult to give a good count for SP because not everyone gets the same number. I'm on maintenance and my program booklet shows 21. However, I am not doing SP. I have a tracker on my phone which allows me to track PP for a onetime purchase price of $3.99.
