I vote for Summer's End.
Phyl the bedroom set was Maija's 16th birthday gift from both Debbie and Jeff but from the way Maija has spoken she said it's all just "stuff" so to replace it won't matter to her at all as she wants something new that comes from us or her Mom as she knows that will be a gift given with love and that's all that matters to her.
Do you ever feel like chucking it all? Last night when we got home from dinner we noticed blood spots on the floor and sofa. Check both dogs paws and no injury. Then saw where the blood was on the sofa and realized it came from one of their rectal areas. So checked and sure enough Bridgette (our beagle) had a swollen area at the rectum and almost looked like tissue was coming out. So called the vet this morning and they saw her at 10:30 and said it could be one of three things, swollen anal gland, hemorrhoid or a tumor. So they took her to the intense examination area and brought her back about 10 minutes later. She was so excited as this is also where we board them so when she came back she knew we weren't leaving. The tech came with three medications that she will be on and one is for 28 days, one for 20 days and one for 14 days. She said the vet would be back to talk to us. He came and said not anal gland, not hemorrhoid but definitely tumor and could be cancer. So surgery is scheduled for Wednesday and they will send it to be tested for cancer but he said he will go about an inch past the area so if it is cancer he should get it all. But he also said this surgery is very delicate as if he goes too far he could cause her to be incontinent. He's young but I trust him completely and know he will be doing his best not to let that happen but until he actually opens her up he won't know how far in it is. Hate to think what that cost will be as today was $180 but all of us fur baby parents know you do what you have to do.

Oh, Sandy I'm so sorry to hear about your Fur Baby!! We will be saying prayers for her that she will be ok that she has no cancer and the surgery goes well also!!! Vet told us to watch and see if Sophie is eating and going on her pan. So far she is still doing all that!!!
I didn't eat breakfast so I'm going to eat lunch now with a movie on Netflix!!!

yes sandy I have felt like chucking it all.
when this platelet thing and
chroic back pain started up I had a day or two where I felt like just felt like giving up on life. I would have not taken my life but possibility gone into a big depression. sure glad I did not.
it's taken a few weeks and I have gotten back to being myself.
somehow things with debbie and jeff will work out.maybe not the we we hope for or what each of them is hoping for. I hope jeff gets a very rude awaking and his plans go in the garbage can.
sorry to hear about bridgette. how old is bridgette? phyl

I vote for Summer's End knowing that in this neck of the woods summer goes on and on and on. No, I am not going camping yet. Still too hot. Why camp if I would just have to stay inside most of the time? September is full of appointments and stuff but if it comes a cool break in the weather I might get in a few days. I am planning on October.
Yes I have felt like giving up. Just Sunday I told someone that at least 6 ft under, I could get sleep. I am so tired of whatever is going on with my head. Hoping the blood work gives some answers.
Sorry Bridgette is having issues.
Cat, I hope things start looking up for you right away.
As of today I am counting 3.2# GONE.

Phyl Bridgette is 11. She's just the sweetest dog we've ever had. If she gets pushed too hard by Bailey she will snarl but has never bitten and is so good with children. If she knows a child is frightened she doesn't walk up to them but drops on her belly and crawls to them.

Some stuff is loaded in the truck. No hurry cause I won't head out until the sun won't hit me in the face. Probably end up putting Bearly behind the seat to keep the sun off him for awhile.
My head is soooo wierd. The nurse thinks the Dr. will read the blood work in the morning and she will call me.

I had a semi busy day today - I took Waylon out, had my blood work done and got gas for the car, came home and had breakfast, took care of Dylan and Harley Quinn - food, medication, and clean cage, and then I went to book club. Came home and didn't do much. Supposed to have training class for Waylon tonight, but there is a thunderstorm going on outside and I don't feel like driving in the rain, so no class for us. Guess I will do my laundry and call it a day. I like Hello Fall for September.
