Just checking in to see what's going on here,

Nancy , you sure did have a busy day!! I don't blame you I don't like to go out in the rain either!!
Sammy is pouting because he can't go outside now. I told him it is to wet and he will get all muddy!!
I told him the chairs are all wet and I can't sit on them. We had another good rain this afternoon and another one after supper tonight. He sure likes it outside!!!
Jack and Rob are hanging out downstairs and Ted is in his chair till bedtime. I'm going into the tv room
and watch tv for a while till Jacks bedtime and then I'll go in my bedroom .
I didn't go anywhere today but I need to take my rings up and get them inspected sometime this week.
The jewelry store is just up the road from us so a short trip.
I'll be back later to say goodnight and then start the thread for tomorrow.
I hope Lucy has a safe trip!!

Sandy, so sorry the divorce is so stressful for all of you. So sorry about Brigette's diagnosis as well.

We had a busy day. DH returned from McD's and had decided that he needed to go to his DM's house to check on the painting and plumbing (200-mile round trip). That meant I had to quick get ready to take him as far as The Parents' House where he picked up Dad's truck for the remainder of the trip. We had lunch at the little restaurant before he left. I visited Mom and cleaned in the laundry room where the bird had made such a mess (built a nest in the dryer vent, babies hatched, pecked it's way through the foil of the vent hose and got into the house.) I think I just about have it clean enough to put the dryer back in place.

On the way back at 5 p.m., DH informed me that he was supposed to be at a committee meeting at church at 4 p.m. He hadn't told me that before we left. I'm a stickler for being on time, so I was kind of upset.

I will write JD's gramma and see what I can find out. They haven't posted on the caring site since the 3rd of July.

Jack and I are having a root beer float and Sammy is doing Happy Dance around in here and Antonio is chasing him!!! Jack can stay up a other 30 minutes then it will be his bed time so he is going to play his
