itsrad , I didn't find the Quaker Low Sugar bars at my grocery store; I'll have to try Target. Meanwhile I found this product that seems to have a healthier list of ingredients than WW's products, similar size and calories, 4 (3.61) SP per bar, and readily available. It is made from cereal so it has to be healthy. Right? Right? You can also make these using Capn Crunch.

I don't eat a lot of WW products but I do like their various protein bars that are 7 or 8 g of protein apiece. That is a nice to have. And, I do like the taste. Calorie wise they are acceptable to me as a snack (typically one a day).

I think they charge way too much for their stuff too, but I can't find any snack in the grocery store that is 2 or 3 points for one bar. And I'm not going to use any more points than that on a snack. When I restarted WW back in January and was not impressed with the disconnect between calories and FS points , i had the theory that WW keeps the points on supermarket cereal and protein bars high, so that you will buy theirs instead.

Sort of. WW has always seemed to develop points formulas that allow them to formulate lower-point products than outside competitors. For example, with SmartPoints (pre-Freestyle), they reformulated snack bars to replace some of the sugar with artificial sweeteners, lowering bars that went from 2 to 4 points in the transition from PointsPlus back down to 2 points (they discontinued some, so probably couldn't make an acceptable version of those with lower points).
