sunrose - Hope you enjoyed your trip. I did some overeating last night and it was with the food I brought into the house on Monday. I knew better when I was buying it. I just can't have things in the house besides what I consider "good" foods. I wish I had more control, but maybe it's better that I accept that I do have to keep those other foods out of the house. One of my knees is bothering me so that is limiting my walking. I was always scared this would happen because not being able to walk makes me worry I'll gain weight. Hope everyone else is doing well on their plans

sunrose49, hope you had fun with your sister. I wouldn't trade my relationship with my sister for the world. DotRen - meal prepping is something that I need to work on, especially for lunches. I spend so much unnecessarily on lunches. cj59 - I wish it were easier. I'm doing ok. I've been trying not to obsess. Trying to make sure that I get in plenty of vegetables. Eat treats that I love without guilt. Keep an eye on my calories and make sure that they're at a deficit most days (even if it's a small one). I made an amazing chocolate zucchini cake last week. It's so rich and decadent - it is a double layer cake made with 2 9 inch round pans and I had to cut it into 24 slices! Way to rich to eat much more than that. But so delicious and satisfying.

I need to prep just 3 meals though. I end up throwing stuff out because I don't like eating the same things day after day lol.

Hello Everyone - Hope you are all doing well and enjoying the weekend wwlurker - It's great to hear from you and also that you are working your program. That cake does sound delicious! DotRen - Hope you can get your meals prepped. I'm about half on/half off my program, but as long as I keep up most of my good habits and still track what I eat (even all the amounts over my plan), I feel a bit in control. Most of the junk is out of the house again and I just have to remember to keep it out, or limit the amount I bring in. I've been able to do some walking, just a very low intensity, but I figure moving some is better than not at all

Good morning
Sorry for being MIA.
Amy, good to see you.
cj59, I'm with you. I cannot have certain things in the house. Half on/half off is not bad at all.
DotRen, too funny on the sun
wwlurker, the cake sounds yummy!! I had a good time with my sister. I'm with you I would not trade my relationship with her for anything.
I have a friend coming this Friday so I have started my cleaning. I hate cleaning, but it feels nice when it is all done. Made step goal past two days. I still need to work on my evening eating.

Hi everyone! cj59, I totally agree that some movement is better than none! That's one of my mottos when it comes to fitness, because I don't have time to workout for hours. DotRen, I often have to throw food out because it goes bad if I make it but don't want to eat it. I have the best of intentions. Right now there's a curry in my work fridge that I'm going to have to throw out. I even like it; I'm just sick of curry. amyrs, I always have a moment of panic regarding airplane seatbelts. They've always fit, but now just barely. sunrose49, I actually enjoy cleaning. It calms me as long as I'm left to do it alone. Cooking is one of those things that I don't actually enjoy doing; I just like the results! I am a bit disappointed because I didn't lose this week (I gained one pound) even though I was at a deficit all week. I should have lost a pound, not gained one! But, I know that I'm not the most accurate tracker. I'm also trying not to focus too much on the weight and trying to focus more on how I feel instead. This week I'm going to focus on trying to get enough sleep and getting some exercise in. It's a very busy week for me both at home and at work, so it's going to be tough!

Good morning! I'm in a "blah" mood I won't say "depressed" because I'm not- not really. Just kind of apathetic I guess. Ever have those days?

DotRen, I often have those days! I'm doing well. I'm just plodding along. Yesterday was a very high-calorie day, but I'm ok with that. I'm starting to get used to the fact that my intake varies wildly from day to day, depending upon my hunger level and what I'm doing. I made an excellent lasagna for dinner yesterday, then my DH requested a specific dessert. Everything was so delicious and I felt completely satisfied. I'm trying to focus on what makes me happy and forget the rest. Like, right now, I know that I need to spend some time and energy making sure that I get some more movement in. DH and I just rejoined the gym, and we're both struggling to make it there regularly.

Hello Everyone amrys - that's a really great goal for motivation to stay on track and lose weight. I wish you all the best in achieving it sunrose - Hope you get your cleaning done soon so you can enjoy your friend visiting wwlurker - I'm glad to hear you are doing well and working at moving forward. You're smart to focus on what makes you happy, I think many of us spend a lot of time doing things that make us unhappy and it can be a sad way to live life DotRen - Hope your day gets better. I have a lot of blah days. Retirement has not been what I expected it to be and living alone doesn't help me, so I understand how you feel. It does seem that those moods eventually go away, but it's tough dealing with them when we have them. I'm doing pretty well. I ate the junk I brought into the house last week, so there's mostly only good food left to eat - funny how I don't have much desire to overeat those foods I do feel like what I'm doing isn't working well. I hate to have to change up my diet since this one is one that I feel like I can live with. I don't know why it's not working as well for me, maybe my body has just gotten used to it and needs a shake up. But I like eating a variety of healthy foods and don't think one of the diets where you focused on one type of food group would be something I'd stick with. I guess I just have to keep doing what I'm doing and hopefully I can get back to my goal weight.

Good afternoon
wwlurker, I use to like to cook. Not so much any more.
cj59, I find that I have to change things up. I get bored. I'm losing the drive for my new plan. Ugh
dotren, I do have those days. Hope you are feeling better.
My cleaning is not all done. Tomorrow I really need to finish up. My friend will be here early Friday.

Technically I'm not doing WW at the moment, I lost my "shine" with the FS program. I am using the Momentum plan from several years ago, or what I remember of it. In some ways, it was more lenient in some ways, but not "unlimited zero points foods" like FS is. Here's a link to the basics, and you can still google some old meal plans, recipes, etc: sites.google.com/site/wwcheatsheets/home/filling-foods-list
