I posted this in the other thread as well - I am wearing red today for Go Red for Woman, I am a heart attack survivor so this cause is very close to my heart!
My FIL is not doing well and has been transferred to a hospice care facility - so mojo and prayers are very much appreciated So my DH and DD's are getting prepared for the worst and ready to fly to RI when it comes time.

It's TGIF! I tried Kitty 's intermittent fasting yesterday and I 'think' the scale dropped enough that I can go to my Friday February weigh-in. Fingers crossed since it's not until noon!
I'm still in shock that I posted before/after on Connect,but the responses have been amazing. I never thought for one minute that I could inspire anyone! I posted because I needed to see for myself that the loss was real. I could have just put the picture on my refrigerator!!!! LOL
I survived yesterday deb~Does~WW, I don't usually complain but it was one of those mornings that whatever could go wrong went wrong! The day went better. Sounds like your day started like mine. Hope you are well. dina, is fil in Jax? pbnj, wished I had some before photos but I usually hid behind someone x it's Grandparents Day At my grandchildren's. It is such a sweet day, mass and classroom visits, they love to show off their work. Running errands and then I'll have lunch with the grands (early dismissal). On my own for dinner, DH is in Tallahassee. Update on trying the conventional maintenance. I added 3 SP a day but did not use my weeklies, gained 2 pounds in 2 weeks! Not as acute but really??

Good morning. Dina, sorry about your FIL. Prayers. Pat, what an inspiration. Thanks for posting. One part of IF I've always done is I only eat between the hours of noon & 8 p.m. I'm like Linda, there are no before pictures. I always manage to hide as much as possible.
It's a brisk .19 this a.m. Nothing much planned for today or the weekend. This probably sounds nuts but I'm getting all my cravings out this weekend. I think I've hit rock bottom...at least I hope I have. Why or why is it so easy to gain & so hard to,lose?

Yes, Deb I am closer to goal but....it wasn't lost on my that yesterday was Ground Hog Day. I have a notebook where I record my daily weight and I have mentioned that this decade I am in is soooo slow....and then I have the clothes jump at the meeting. I looked at the numbers and thought, "yup Ground Hog day....I have been here before!!"....Glad I had something to chuckle about.
I am not as obsessed with the numbers as I seem to be when I post. I just like them for a meter of my progress. I am rolling along in the same fashion. I have been avoiding some of my walking due to the rash and being in the cold. I am pretty certain that it is a virus as I have a friend in a different state with the same issue and virus confirmed by her doc. So I am resting more than usual which is hard for me.
I am in Ground Hog hibernation state!

Good morning, lots of posts already! I slept a little later, the bed felt so good, so need to get going.
I am *stepping out* for the first time in my new town, I signed up for a Classical Stretch class. I have done some of the stretching online and DVD for a couple of years, and explored to see if anyone in Boston was teaching the classes...and found one down the street! It's just for 6 weeks and I missed the first class last week with the injection, but I love the program and it always makes me feel great, so I'm looking forward to it.
dina Kudos on being a Red Hat survivor, I will be sure an wear my red today. And lots of good thoughts and mojo for the difficult days ahead.

Good morning all! Lots of activity early this morning. I'm back from my 2 mile walk and a quick stop at the grocery store. I'm meeting my firgl friends for lunch today. I've already looked at the on-line menu so I've got a plan. The grands are spending the night tomorrow night so their parents can go to a couples Bunco night.
lmenglish I feel your pain about the easy weight gain due to a few extra points. I'm still stuck at 30 SP and I even have to watch that. I guess the answer is to really increase my activity but that probably won't happen.
pbnj So proud of you for putting out your pictures. Like many of you, I don't have many pictures of the old days. I tried to always be the photographer so I could skip the pictures.

I admire you people who can do IF.There is no way I could even go from 8 PM to 12:00 the next day.I'm a breakfast eater.I try not to eat much after 8 PM but come morning I have to have breakfast even with drinking water in between meals.

Deb I broke a cup and somehow the coffee maker kept brewing (without me knowing) even after it supposedly was done. There was coffee everywhere.
dina I'm glad you're heart health is better now. I will also try to find something red in my wardrobe.

ksbruns I hope you enjoy your stretch class. I could use some stretching. I used to be so limber, but haven't been for a long time.
I didn't sleep well. My hubby has a bad cold and coughed all night long. Poor guy. Poor me.
My house is so messy now. I really let it go. Usually it's very clean and tidy. I MUST do some housework this afternoon! As for other things, well... could be better, could be worse. I need to work on enjoying simple pleasures more and being kind to myself. I have to make the extra effort to be good to myself. I haven't been.
Current daily goals I try not to exceed (at least by much):
1,240 calories, 155 g total carbs (25 g fiber), 41 g fat (14 g saturated fat), 63 g or more protein
My main goals are to get back into my normal BMI range, lower my cholesterol, and maintain my other normal blood levels.

I am so glad it's FRIDAY! it's been a LONG week!
Nothing much new to report! I signed up to be part of weight loss group here on campus put on by our health center. It's funny because it meets at the same time as the WW@work meeting! LOL oh well, it's free so why not! It starts on the 16th.
