I enjoy both boards although I post more here. Plenty of room for both boards and for all of us!

Geez this thread just reminded me I need to get back over there for some updates. I haven't been able to get over there in forever and am sadly behind, I hope they have a comprehensive update thread somewhere to make it easy *snort*

I mean really, despite their roles as mods (or is it modesses?) Rad and Deb need to be able to express opinions in their individual capacity just like anyone else. Disagreement is not censorship.

So when someone tells you to get over yourself, it's fine. Good to know. Nice try. Your censorship comment was not in response to the "get over yourself." It was the reverse, in fact. Regardless, I'm done here.

ok what the fuck happened here?? poor rad looks like she is talking to herself. who is screaming censorship and then deleting their own posts?
out with yourselves, please. people shouldn't get to jump on a topic and then delete their own posts later. i'm good with editing but deleting one's own posts? makes the threads look out of order and make no sense.

I guess from now I on when I respond to people I should make sure I quote them.
This thread does make me nostalgic for the days when CS would randomly poof posts so that the rest of us looked like we were insane.

On the GDT, there's a newish rule that you have 15 minutes to edit your post then the edit feature goes away. It prevents people from throwing hissy fits then deleting so that everyone else looks silly.

I gave it some thought when the deleting in this thread started up the other night. Truth be told, I don't really care if people go back and delete or edit their posts. It is a reflection on the deleter - it is pretty obvious when something is a response to something that has disappeared. I did learn a lesson here - from now I on I will make sure to quote the person to whom I am responding if I think there is a possibility of being taken out of context. SaveSave

On the new GDT we had to take that power away. Too many people were deleting and then things were confusing.

i like it as a rule too. it's probably not trafficky enough here to bother, because we don't tend to have many people deleting their own posts. except with whatever BS occurred in here.
