Good morning
DotRen, glad your son was not hurt. Gee on having to buy the report.
cj59, Yes, we will get it back together. I have yet to make the two ingredient dough bagels. How you fix them sounds yummy.
I stopped doing the Ideal Protein. I am just not doing it like I should (even though I had a really good weight loss the first week). I am still drinking my water, trying to meet my daily step goal and working to get veggies in. Not doing so good with the fruit.

Good morning!
Having my furnace check-up today. Since it's gas, we make sure to do that yearly. I asked them to bring a "simple" digital thermostat because ours seems to be faultering. I told them "no bells and whistles, I don't need one with an app or programming! Just a simple one so I can set it to the temp I want when I want to" lol. I liked the old dial ones best -they lasted forever.

DotRen, I am with you on no bells/whistles. I need to set my inspection up. I do it in the fall and spring (so the warranty stays in place).
I walked on the towpath earlier with a neighbor. We did 4 miles. Really nice out. Much cooler. Headed out to a winery with a friend. Hope everyone has a great Friday.

Furnace is great, got the thermostat replaced. Our repair/checkup guy said it's getting more and more difficult to find "simple" thermostats. Everyone wants intuitive ones that "learn" and crap.

Good morning DotRen, too funny on the thermostat. I actually have one that is set so I really don't have to change it. I got a new furnace about 7 years ago and had the tech set it. Too fancy for me. I am so close to getting below 200. Why I don't do it I don't know. I have been at this weight for probably 3+ years. I go up a little and down a little. I bought a loaf of French bread yesterday. I am like Oprah--I love bread!!! But I do not manage it. I should just not buy it. I know better. I am a cheese/bread person. I also love apples with cheese. I am rambling about food--ugh.

Well I'm a nervous mom today. My son flies out later (first time he's flying), layover at O'hare then on to Albany NY, then a drive down to Tennessee for a few days, then reverse back to here. I know he'll have a great time, but as mom, I can't help but worry lol.

Hello Everyone - Hope you are all doing well today DotRen - I hope your son has a safe trip and a good time. I think it's only normal for a Mom to worry sunrose - I hope you can break through that barrier and get below 200 - hang in there Welcome UncleLou - Are you doing the current WW plan? I hope that you like it, many people really have done well on it. I lost my weight using an older program - Momentum. I was about half on/half off program, and now I'm all the way off I know I'll get back on track soon. I do still get in my walking each day, and my water. I've been slacking on eating all the vegetables and fruits and dairy that I should but I try to get some in. Just need to get myself motivated to get back on my program. Hope everyone else is doing well on their plans.

Good Monday morning! Well we got a call last night around 9:30, son had a minor incident on the trip. Someones pocket knife fell out of their pocket and between the sofa cushions (apparently) and son sat on it. He has a minor stab wound on his outer thigh. Luckily 2 of the guys on the trip have medical experience, so they got him all bandaged up and neosporined lol. They both said he did not need stitches. They head out, back to NY today, so they're going to stop off at an Urgent Care place and have it double checked, since it is a stab/puncture wound. He doesn't remember if he got a tetanus shot earlier this year when he got a HepA booster (someone at work was exposed), he thinks he got them at the same time but he doesn't remember. Anyway, he's fine. Said it hurts and 3 days in a car on his butt is probably going to be uncomfortable, not to mention the flight back Friday. So yeah.

Scratch that: he's getting stitches as I type this.
Edit: yikes- 10 staples and 1 internal stitch. He said they used more staples because it swelled up quite a bit over night.
