Becky - Congratulations on this major achievement!!! You are definitely an inspiration to me, since I also had a lot of weight to lose, and have always feared gaining it back, like I've always done. You sound like you are really in the right mindset this time to keep it off forever

@beckyw2016 Wow, Becky, that is just amazing! I'm so happy for you. We all know it's a long, sometimes lonely journey to lose weight but you hung in there. The support from these boards is unwavering and helpful.
For me, maintaining my weight loss is like steering a little sail boat. A little to the left, then to the right and seldom in a straight line. You can do this, one day at a time.
For now, be happy where you are and congratulations. (((Hugs)))

I'm so happy for you, Becky. I noticed your 200 lb. milestone when you posted your daily menu. Congratulations! You can use the same skills you used to lose to maintain your weight loss.

Becky, I know there is not right or wrong way to do this but you just keep your head in the game and keep on moving. To me that is the one right way that we can all agree on.
I have no doubt that you will maintain. Your attitude and your appreciation of your journey will sustain you. Congrats!

Congratulations are not enough. You truly are an inspiration. Not just for what you accomplished but for how you accomplished it. There is no doubt that you will rock maintenance and live the you you were meant to be.

Like Pat,I still don't consider myself thin.I think I confuse thin and skinny and I'm certainly not skinny. However I no longer feel fat
This says it all for me, also. I think I'll always look in the mirror and focus on my hips and thighs, they have never ever been skinny! And we will do maintenance together, you know the results of my first experiment, ha ha! Happy and proud to be your friend!

Becky! That's so wonderful! It's a team effort: you, God, and DH! It's not offensive to thank the team -- it's real! You have been blessed.
Maintenance is a whole other game, and a different set of skills. You will get it!
