Good Morning. Feel like I've been up for hours. I got up at 5 (u all know why π) & Oliver Twisted refused to,let me go back to sleep...ugh. He was so mad he kicked & pushed his litter box onto the middle of the kitchen floor. Hmm, who owns who??
nothing much planned for today. For all you Super Bowl fans, hope it's a good game. Enjoy!π

Good Sunday to all. Not a football person but hope you all enjoy your game and parties. Still working on healing so keeping close to home and doing chores intermittently.
Had some of the veggie noodles I found at Wegmans. Enjoyed both the butternut squash and beets. I have to admit I was skeptical but I am adding these to my list of things to eat. I may even consider one of the spiralizing devices in the future. That would be handy to have during Farmer's Market season. A good find!
Good vibes for planning and restraining on the party foods.

Morning all! Already have the munchies in anticipation of the game today. I love/hate to watch the game. If they do poorly I'll be switching to PBS and "Victoria" (an excellent show, btw) It's hard to watch the game solo (my husband is not a football fan and my sons hate my team!!) again congratulations to Becky! such an inspiration! I'm walking that maintenance path with you!! thyme2 Absolutely love my spiralizer! Zucchini noodles several times a week!

Good morning...on the π headed to church. I'll report later on the new recipe I made last night, but we're looking forward too lunch! The plan is to head back to church to hang pictures in J's office...then maybe this week to finish at home! Yes, there are snacks in the house, but committing to mindful choices in this high point day. Enjoy your celebration, borntexan. thyme2 a spiralizer is one of my few gadgets. Feel better!

Good morning everyone.Again, thanks for all the kind words and support.I think I may hold off on the celebration for a few days but it will be something not involving food.
Enjoy the Super Bowl everyone. We may watch a commercial or two or halftime but other than that we are not interested in the game.I hope your team wins no matter who you are pulling for.
I need to get ready for church in the next 30 minutes. Then I guess we need to brave the HEB after church crowd. We went to HEB in Bastrop yesterday and although it's always crowded it was like a zoo in there.May go by WM to pick up my RX and hope if the rain holds off for a walk this afternoon.
I received a letter from Aetna yesterday approving my knee injections(which is probably why the long wait)so I'm good to go for the 1st one tomorrow afternoon.I plan to go to Curves in the morning since my appointment isn't until 3:30 and I doubt I will even feel like a walk later but will see.
Have a great Sunday all!

The grand kids spent the night and we had fun cooking dinner together. They go to bed fairly early so we're lucky grandparents that can recuperate after they are asleep! But, they were both up before 7 and we cooked breakfast together. Then, off to 2 stores to get what we needed. I think we beat the big Super Bowl crowds but it was definitely busy today. They'll go home after lunch today and then DH and I will watch most of the Super Bowl while waiting to see the commercials. The sun is out and it's warm here in Houston so the fans should have a great day. Congratulations to @beckyw2016 on her huge accomplishment. The support from all of our virtual friends is amazing!

LOL Sulli β My 4 remain on the weekday schedule. They donβt care that I want to sleep. Good morning Deb Sorry Pat but I will be rooting against you. Kathy β I love to hear how new recipes work out. Enjoy your celebration Becky. I think a spa day would be a wonderful way to celebrate! Linda β Glad you enjoyed the time with the kids. I made this this morning www.cookinglight.com/food/recipe-finder/wow-youve-got-to-try-egg-ravioli It was a fun presentation (picture on Connect) but a lot of work. Iβll stick to my baked or poached eggs in the future. Cleaning is on the agenda. Already half way through. Then I will relax and enjoy the game. I am planned, prepped and tracked.

Late check in after wonderful brunch with family to celebrate mom's 91st birthday week. The food was delicious, the sun was beautiful as was the view of the mountains. Lots of laughter and conversation.

Checking in late. Have not been tracking or eating well this weekend. I'll track tomorrow and be on plan. Last night, DH and I had a really nice date night. There is a farm to table restaurant around here that has wonderful food and drinks. After dinner, we went to the bar and had a drink and just sat and enjoyed each other. I think both last night and this morning we felt the closest we've been in many years.
Went to Church this morning and had a wonderful time with all the kids at church. We sit behind a wonderful family with 3 children (2 boys age 6 and 8) and a wonderful young girl 12. The youngest boy and I have a great relationship playing together over the pews. His parents enjoy watching us (he was once so sick we didn't think he was going to live to see his first birthday).
So Nothing productive all weekend by a lot of soul and heart filling.

Although Iβm not a sports person, I always record the Super Bowl on the DVR so that I can tune before halftime to see how close the game is and enjoy the show. Then I check in towards the end of 4Q to see if any excitement has developed.
Todayβs game is the type that rewards the effort. Close right up to the end!
