I didn't get to the store to stock up for the impending Snow Event (upstate a bit from pbnj and SusiQ) - <boo, hiss!> - what's a Snow Event without a house full of carb-y junk?!?! Oh, wait - mine.
DayJob plus squidSitting every evening this week so far has scrambled my brain. Must be sure to keep my meals on track.

We also have 60 degree weather this morning and are supposed to get 4-6 inches of snow tonight. Crazy. No wonder m joints hurt.
The school is crazy- delay or no school? I'm betting nothing happens

Beautiful day here as we celebrate my mom's 91st birthday and as dh continues to improve daily. His homecoming should be soon. No specific date yet, but soon. We're enjoying the sunshine and no snow in the forecast.
Staying focused on tracking and moving today among the celebrations. I'll get my liquids in today as well. Have a great day everyone.

Morning everyone.
Same old, same old here…gray and rainy. Supposedly we get sunshine starting Saturday and then yet another storm the following Thursday.
Comcast came yesterday evening and got everything in the house tuned up. Apparently the cable connectors the electricians used when I had the whole house wired for video/internet/telephone five years ago were cheap and not well installed. The cable entering the house was split and revonnected so it could go into a junction box during the remodel, and that connector was the primary one that was faulty. He found fault at the connection at the pole, too. For good measure he changed out the connectors at my TVs and changed all of the ones at my distribution panel as well. Great job. Pleasant young employee. And now the Internet speed seems better and consistent. Thanks, Comcast.
I suppose I’ll hit the gym for a bit today. Last exercise was Sunday, so it is about time to do something.
sullicat1, thanks for the additional info on gluten. Very interesting.
lmenglish, you’ve peaked my curiosity and need to tell us what Avocado Fries are!

Wow, Wacky Wednesday for sure! We were up early and out the door for a 7 a.m. emergency dental appt. for DH. Then, we had to stop at the sprinkler supply store since one of our sprinkler heads was broken this morning and was spraying straight up into the air. And, you might ask, why was the sprinkler on in February? Because we're having temps in the upper 80s and my grass is growing so I turned the sprinklers on! Then, on the way home, I was stopped by our friendly police and given a warning ticket for going 40 in a 30. Very nice officer; I just didn't know this new road was only supposed to be 30. So, I crept home, dropped DH off and slowly sped to my WW meeting! Whew, quite a morning but I'm home and planning a great OP meal: steelhead trout with roasted broccoli and salad.

zazzles , sliced avocado, rolled in bread crumbs and deep fried. They are very rich, one or two slices is very filling. I bet this would be very good in an air fryer but I still haven't decided on getting one!

Happy Wednesday! It's snowing here finally, we haven't had much this year. Our golden retriever George has an individual assessment and training tonight so I hope the snow doesn't interfere. He's still jumpy and bitey. He's been in 6 classes. Our daughter called him our most educated and our most ill-behaved dog we've ever owned. I can't argue with that. He's only a year and he gets neutered next month. linda72 I'm glad you just got a warning. lmenglish the avocado fries sound rich. Why is it called Wackadoodle Wednesday? |

Ha kim1607 George sounds like a handful! When we start the thread we sometimes just use words that start with the same letter for alliteration value and a laugh, I think sullicat1 just had a rough start this morning and was paying tribute to it  WTG mlj2151 that is fantastic!! |

It was 86 yesterday and 84 right now so I understand why linda72 was running her sprinkler.By morning it's supposed to be in the upper 40's so go figure.It must be wacky all over. kim1607,I have a 20 mo female puppy that would get along fine with George.She is also not the best behaved dog we have ever had but she is getting better.She's just so big and wants to play. mlj2151,Congrats on your loss. I have gone to Curves 3 days in a row now and so far today my knee is feeling better than it has since the injection.I am taking it for a walk soon and see how it behaves. I hope everyone is having a good day. |
