Up 1.8 pounds this week, totally expected. I didn't track for two days and didn't care. UGH.
Back on track since Friday but still feeling very rocky. I guess the fact that I actually got on the scale this morning is a good indication that I may be back in the game again. There are lots of challenges coming up this week---DH will be undergoing cardiac testing over several days and then may be facing more procedures or surgery. DGD's birthday party. Yep, LIFE.
What has worked best for me in the past is to just skip meals and try to control my intake at celebrations. That "eat before you go" stuff has NEVER worked for me. I'll try to hold to one slice of pizza and a glass of wine (or two). The desserts are never too much of a problem for me; I'm okay with a small sliver of whatever.
KOKO.

You are still keeping under your calories. Yes, when I track! The idea is to keep tracking, lol. Again, always a struggle. It always has been, always will be. Sometimes the best we can do is to keep on truckin.'

I stayed the same this week. OK with that. I think I will go into self-imposed maintenance for the next few weeks. With the holidays and other celebratory activities, I don't know if I can try to lose weight. My goal won't be to lose weight, it will be not to gain weight. That seems easier right now. Ha! cozyhomelife , so sorry to hear your sad news. Hope your hubby is better soon.
