reneinitaly, I had a very strange thing happen today, that's never happened before. I put something in and the points said 10, and I hit the track button and went to look at my day and it said 11! I went back and did the same thing again, to see if I remembered it wrong, and it said, 10, and the log page showed 11! Never had the points in the date figuring page not match what it put on my log! I am wondering if it's because of all the work being done on the beta. Let me know if it continues and we can send them a ticket.

Ok, I downloaded the app. It's a bit frustrating with having to search multiple databases and is definitely going to take some time to get used to. Is bites flex the closest thing to the current WW plan?
I'm not sure what plan was in effect 10 years ago... and which would be best for me.

brokenecho, 10 years ago was probably classic (WW Momentum). I think Plus (WW PointsPlus) started at the end of 2009. I always just start with the Pocket Guide, because that's the one that has the right points, or 0 points, for whatever program you're doing. I'm using the free version, for Plus, so I can't even access the online foods, the restaurant guide, and the snack guide. I'm doing fine with it. I don't feel a need to put in every specific brand of food that I eat. The generic "peanut butter, chunky" for example works for me without going into the online database to find my particular brand. I figure I'm never going to be exactly precise in tracking what I eat, so close enough is good enough for me. I do the same with restaurant foods. I just break down what it is that I'm eating. Once you have foods that you eat often saved as favorites, it gets much easier. Much like WW etools, or any other tracking system, it takes some work to get it set up to start.

susan092907, Thanks Susan. I'm figuring it out now. Today was my rebill for WWs, so cancelled that and will continue with the itrackbites app! I did go ahead and get the pro version.

Not sure if it's still set up like this but, when I joined the free version ITB, looking for foods under Search USDA Foods took forever. A simple upgrade of $2.99 unlocked and allowed me to use Search Online Foods which was a game changer.
The difference between the USDA and Online is night and day and really worth the small fee. It also allows me search Restaurants, Snacks and Beer. *I can not use the Recipe Builder without an additional purchase but, I'm managing fine without it. I love the app. Good luck everyone

I don't understand what you bought.... I paid the yearly fee of something like $35 and it unlocked everything, which I do like. I just don't understand where you found a product that still allows you to buy pieces of the pro plan. ?

cozyhomelife, The Pro plan came long after I started using ITB. ITB was offered as a free app when I got my current cell phone just over 2 years ago and as I mentioned in my earlier post, I soon upgraded. When the Pro plan came to fruition, I was offered the opportunity to buy it at a discounted price since I was already participating but, I declined. Hope that helps.

doordie50 When I first downloaded ITrackBites I think it was like $2.99.I also purchased the restaurant guide and the online search and I agree the online search is so much better than the USDA option.Since I downloaded it early I was able to get in on the $11.99/year upgrade and I mostly did it because they were talking about an update for Fitbit syncing. So I didn't have to pay $35 either.Sometimes I do flex/freestyle and to do that I would have had to do Pro anyway. At any price for the Pro it's still cheaper than the monthly fee for the WW app. I'm still using the WW app because I got a good deal on a 3 month subscription back in September but when it ends around the middle of December I will not renew for $20/month.I like the WW app better but do not like the price since I have no intent on going to meetings.

I have a "thing" about not wanting to pay for the Pro version, because I've had access to WW etools for free since 2010, and my free account extends to some time in 2025. So even though I don't use it, I'm taking a stand about not paying for any alternative at this point. itrackbites Pro is a whole lot cheaper than WW if I had to pay for WW, but since I don't, it's a whole lot more expensive.

I'm not clear on that. It sounds like you are paying $20 for WW Online which doesn't include meetings. If you were paying for meetings, you'd be paying for a Monthly Pass at about $45 a month.

zazzles I'm not currently paying $20/month.I would be if I renewed after the 3 mo subscription renewed.I got 3 months online for $30 total which averages to $10 month.
