Good morning
wwlurker, good to see you. Weighing once a month would be a nice feedback.
cj59, I have done that so many times when starting over. I eat all in sight like I'll never have it again...lol Nice that you don't have to go out again. I will finish up today.
DotRen, hope you are doing well.
Met my step goal yesterday. I love when I can get out and walk with my friend. Eating is so, so. Yesterday was a very emotional day for me. It was one of those days that things kept going wrong. It's a new day today ;-)

Hello Everyone - Hope you are all doing well today
sunrose - I hope today is a better day for you
No point in me talking about my eating , but I'm tracking, walking and not giving up, so that's something.
I hope everyone is ready for Christmas, I know it can be a stressful time for so many different reasons.
Have a great weekend!

Hello Everyone DotRen - I'd be a miserable person without a sense of humor. I think sometimes that is what keeps me going. I'm glad you enjoy yours and share it with us sunrose - Hope you make it through the holidays O.K., it is a tough time for so many people. Hopefully we can all be motivated to eat better after the holiday. Hope everyone else checking in is doing well and that everyone is having a good weekend

Good morning
cj59, I like have a sense of humor. I love to laugh. I am looking forward to a new start soon.
DotRen, how are you doing?
Waving to all. I got into the cookies my one neighbor made. Ginger Snaps--they are so good. Luckily she gave me just a little bag (about 5 cookies). I am sending the rest of the stuff to my son's work today.
Happy Christmas Eve to all

Happy Christmas Eve I am thankful for the fact that my husband and son worked well together re-facing the front porch lol. They usually snipe at each other constantly when they try to work together, so it was nice to not have to listen to the bickering! I'm making lasagna for Christmas dinner, and I think I'll try to make myself a small pan made with eggplant instead of pasta. I'm planning on having garlic bread and pie still, but maybe cutting out some of the gluten overload will help prevent a headache the next morning. I really don't have a lot to do today. I'll probably make my sauce so it can simmer. I may even assemble the lasagna so I don't have to do that tomorrow (and all the dishes that go with it!). Sending you all happy wishes

Happy Christmas Eve everyone sunrose - good for you giving up those cookies, hope you enjoyed the ones you had. I love ginger baked goods and made gingerbread today. DotRen - that's nice to have the family getting along. Your dinner for tomorrow sounds good. I'm going to make a pasta dish myself. I want to know who it was that decided the Christmas holidays are for eating so much food I think next year I need to treat the holidays as normal days and no "special food eating". Even though I just had that thought, that's what I did the first year I was back on plan in 2015 and also most of 2016. I think that could have been why I was successful at that time. Maybe I'll make that a goal for next year. I've been reading people's thoughts about diet plans and hope I can work one out that will be good for me, maybe a combination of several plans. I wish I had done the Points Plus plan, but I never did it. I see lots of people saying that was the best plan they did and worked well for them. Hope everyone checking in is doing well and surviving the holidays and enjoying time with family and friends

Good morning and Merry Christmas!!
DotRen, I love eggplant. That should be yummy. I hope you have a good day. My son and I do that when working on something....lol We both want to be chiefs.
cj59, I remember years ago when I first starting do WW (I think it was 1990) I reached my 20 lb loss right before Christmas. I remember the Leader saying "see it can be done" she was so excited for me and I was so proud.
Waving to all
I am cooking a turkey and of course Stove Top...ugh. I will also make mashed potatoes.
I did get in the cookies, but not badly. Hope everyone enjoys their day.

MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL WHO VISIT HERE sunrose - Congratulations on reaching that goal during the holidays, I know you an do it again I remember back in 2009 when I was going to meetings, I went to the one the day after Christmas, there were only 5 people there But I lost weight. I had learned that I had to treat holiday days the same as regular days. I did that again in 2015 and 2016, but 2017 really got me off track and I went back to that old mentality of eating holiday foods and continued that mindset into 2018. I sure hope that 2019 can be a better year and I can do well like I did before. Hope everyone has a wonderful day!

Good morning! I hope everyone had an enjoyable Christmas My DH actually got me exactly what I asked for (a specific convection countertop oven). No matter how specific I am (printing out pictures, where to buy, cost- everything)he tries to get "something better". I'm not hard to buy for, but I am not "girly" into jewelery, clothes, purses and all that. I like kitchen stuff lol But I am picky and I do a lot of research before I decide on something, so when he decides to get "something better", it's usually NOT what I wanted for one reason or another. But he did this time and I'm happy We enjoyed the lasagna. I made a small pan of eggplant lasagna but I decided on a small portion of the regular for yesterday and it was really good (if I might brag on my cooking lol). Kept it all simple and it was an enjoyable day.

Hello Everyone DotRen - I'm glad you got the oven you wanted, I've seen those and they look like they would be very useful. It must be frustrating to tell someone exactly what you want and then they get something different Your meal sounds enjoyable too. I enjoyed the pasta bake I made and had a quiet day yesterday. I'm trying to get myself in the "dieting" mindset again. It's just so easy to eat anything you want, whenever you want. I dread the work of dieting again, but hopefully I can think of it as a way to take care of my health. My knees have been bothering me again now that I've gained some weight back, so maybe that will motivate me to get the weight off again. Hope anyone checking in is doing well.

cj59, I am not setting a weight loss goal this next year. I do have a lot to lose, but I need to focus on getting truly healthy and I think the weight will fall into place then. Sounds like you and I are reading the same playbook lol Yes I love my toaster ovens. I use them easily 75% of the time. Having a small kitchen, it tends to heat up when I use the big oven. Not an issue in December and January, but in May through September- I just can't lol.

Good morning
cj59, That's great what you did in those years. I think you'll do good in 2019.
DotRen, nice present from your DH. Have you used it yet?
I had a nice, quiet Christmas. My DSon got me some really nice presents. I keep hearing what is your "why" well here is mine.
Why:
1. Heart 2. Breathing 3. Self esteem 4. Living again
