Brava for the teacher that helped "heal the sick" child! There are man made rules, regulations and laws. There are also personal and spiritual beliefs and rules that outweigh puny man made rules.
We have to listen to our head or to our heart when they disagree. Sounds like she went with her heart!
She's my heroine!

I want a Nancy Pelosi bobble head!
Does anybody remember during the campaign when the Dems ran an ad with people standing on a long bread line, and the crawler below read "a look at a Trump presidency?"
Crystal ball or common sense?

Thank you ladies for the welcome !
My name is Elizabeth by the way.
I am not into politics but always willing to chime in when it comes to talking about that creature who is in the WH. He reminds me of a line from a Hilary Swank movie that I love ( The Homesman ) when she is talking about someone she dislikes and does not respect ' He is a poor specimen of a man '. He truly is. When I saw that clip of him with his 'locker room talk ', I nearly heaved my guts up. ' Grab 'em by the p***y ' - what I do not know any women who would be turned on by that. Color me disgusted.

Was watching the show that comes on before Morning Joe this morning, I think it's First Look, and they had a clip of an interview with a contractor from the Smithsonian. He said he had lied to his children about things during the shutdown and was crying because he was 'afraid he was going to lose his house.' I stood in my kitchen and cried for him. THIS IS SO WRONG!!!!!
Nancy Pelosi needs to just keep saying 'We have voted 10 times to end the shutdown. President Trump needs to end his shutdown and stop hurting people'. Just say it over and over.
I heard on NPR that one landlord who owns several properties of low income- gets money from the government to subsidize section 8 housing and if she misses even one mortgage payment she will lose her property. THen all of those people could be evicted.
Then there's Wilbur Ross............ Lord help us all.

Roger Stone arrested! Is this the beginning of the end of this Mueller Investigation? Gosh, I sure hope so. Of course, now, I wonder what JA will do today to distract everyone from this news. It won't be good, that's for sure.

If the JA ends the shutdown today, we can be fairly certain his motivation would be to change the headlines about Roger Stone being indicted this morning.

The walls are closing in on the JA, and in my dreams they are prison walls. Stone may be counting on a pardon from the JA, but ultimately he'll crack just like the rest of them. Has anyone else noticed in the pictures they keep showing this morning of the JA and Stone dating back for many years, Stone always is walking along or standing behind the JA in kind of a subservient position. I haven't seen a single photo where they looked like equals on a friendship basis. The indictments continue to refer to a senior official in the campaign. Well, I've never worked in a campaign but I would think there could only be a very small number of people who could be referred to as a senior official, and in Trump world I would think that number would be even smaller than usual as they tend to be so insulated about everything keeping it all in the family. I don't know what Mueller will ultimately be able to prove, but I don't see how any reasonable person can look at the information that has already come out and not know that the JA was in this up to his eyeballs and ultimately directing the whole thing even if he was issuing orders through someone else.

I bet JA declares a National Emergency this afternoon. Funny, he had not much of anything on his agenda today, until Stone's arrest, & now is speaking from the WH this afternoon. I agree, definitely a change the subject move.

I've heard people say this government shut down is the JA having a temper tantrum over loosing The House. I believe it.
I'm so over this JA sucking up all our air and time.

Absolutely this is all to try and distract from Roger Stone on the JA's part. I just hope that it gives some relief to those being affected by this ridiculous shutdown.
