CJ this one is a small one, maybe 15 vendors. The only other one I know of is in Pearland - about a 45 minute drive. And I'm not sure when they're open. One of the people in a FB group said WW is going to do a "flash sale" for getting members back sometime in Feb. She said something about the new year resolutioners getting back on track after super bowl. Good luck on the de-cluttering. It can be really hard to toss out things that we have an attachment to.

I am so down with eating. I try each morning but have no follow through. I want to go with weight watchers but last week bad snow storm and this week wind chills of -50 may prevent me again. I got a hat today that covers everything but eyes and better gloves.

Good morning
dotren, wow that sounds like a very nice farmers market. Hope your dog is doing okay.
cj59, going to a WW workshop might be a good thing. Sometimes we just need something different to get back on track.
Amy, I am so sorry you are down about your eating. I too start each day off on the right foot and by dinner time I am on the left foot. Hang in there lady we are there for you. Sorry you can't make your WW workshop.
Waving to all
I did get one room cleaned the other day. Now on to another one. cj59 I too have a hard time decluttering. I am going to work on it though.

Hello Everyone - I can't believe January is almost over, where did the month go?
Amy - Hang in there, I can certainly understand how you are feeling. Hopefully you can get to a meeting after the cold weather.
sunrose - Decluttering is difficult. I'm just going to keep working at it because I know I can't even think about moving until it's done. Hope yours continues to go well.
DotRen, wwlurker, and irisinnia and anyone else checking in - Hope everything is going well in your life.
I'm working at eating a fruit, vegetable and dairy everyday. I can't believe just a year ago I would make sure to have at least 2 servings of these every day. I have to get back to that. When I'm eating all that healthy food, it doesn't leave much space to eat the junk. I have been getting in my exercise and water too, and I'm still tracking what I eat each day - even though I wonder what the point of it is, but I'm not going to stop.
Hope everyone has a great week!

cj59 Where did the time go? I like your healthy food mentality about letting the good stuff crowd out the junk. I think I heard a similar philosophy on Hungry for Change (Netflix). @sunrose Congrats on the decluttering. It’s never ending but still visually rewarding. amyrs That weather probably isn’t helping in the eating department since it begs for warm comfort food. I have rediscovered soups and have to say they are filling and keep me warm. Tea would be good too but I’m more of a hot chocolate kinda girl. I hope you stay warm and find what works for you! DotRen I’m intrigued by the flash sale. Thanks for the info! How’s the puppy doing? (I know not a puppy but all dogs are puppies to me) I am on vacation this week so I’ll be lurking more, posting less, but I thought I’d share for a laugh that I am trying to figure out how to make dining out for lunch AND dinner work. And today at our second burger place of the week I had the most disgusting salad I have ever had. I managed to stay close to program but yuck! I think I just need to steer the group away from burgers. lol Good luck everyone!

DotRen , amyrs , sunrose49 , cj59 , irisinnia , good morning! Iris he seems to be doing well. No antihistamines since Friday afternoon and he's not scratching and his mood seems a lot better. Sorry your burger places suck lol. For me, they're kind of nostalgic, I remember my grandparents stopping at a "mom and pop" type burger joint when we were kids, and the smell takes me back there Same with a small pizza shop. In Brownsville, Tx, there was a place called Geo's pizza and it was family owned. They fought like cats and dogs lol. But the pizza was great, and the family was entertaining. cj59 , there's a new yogurt by "Two Good By Light & Fit" that has only 2g sugar and 80 calories per serving. I don't know if it's any good, but it might fit into your daily dairy nicely. I figure it can't be any worse than the carbmaster stuff that Kroger sells. That stuff is awful to me. Adding: I had the weirdest dream last night! Ray Liotta was at a party asking everyone if they quit smoking with whatever that pill is he sells on tv lol. There was a guy that raised possums and he had one in a baby onsie type outfit and it kept biting everyone, then Ray (I feel like I can call him Ray now) bit the head off a baby possum, went outside and smoked a cigarette lol. one more add: I need to get more beet greens, I had them steamed then just a light drizzle of olive oil, salt and pepper and they were excellent! Apparently they are very nutritious as well: beet green nutrition

Good morning
dotren, thanks for sharing the info. Glad your dog is doing better.
irisinnia, enjoy your vacation.
cj59, happy to hear that you are not stopping the tracking. You beat me there.

Met step goal yesterday. Got out for two walks with my dog. Too cold today to take her out. So all stuff will be done inside.

Hello Everyone - Hope you are all doing well and staying warm I really wish I could figure out where I am with dieting and eating right, but I just haven't been able to figure out whether I'm ready to be serious. At least I have stopped most of the excessive overeating I was doing. Hopefully focusing on eating healthy foods, getting in my water and exercise and practicing the Beck ideas will help me to get my eating back on track. I've never found that I was successful just half trying to be on a plan, so I really hope I can get my mind back to wanting to be on track full time. Take care everyone!

Good morning
cj59, I hope you can get fully back to the plan. That makes sense what you said (half vs. full).
I ate out last night with a friend. I ordered a bake potato and steamed broccoli. I don't care for the salads at this place and I'm not a salmon lover. Now that I am working on not having beef, pork or chicken things are a little different.
WWlurker if you see this what do you order when out?

Hello Everyone - Hope you are all doing well today sunrose - that sounds like it was a good dinner. I hated broccoli as a child, but I love it now. I'm still working on decluttering my house, and today I found a bunch of old pictures of myself. In almost every one of them I am overweight. It made me think that it's no wonder it was so difficult to stay at a lower weight since I don't know how to be smaller. I've spent so much of my life being larger and overweight. I'm not saying that's a reason not to be smaller at a healthy weight, but it makes me realize how difficult the "mind" part of keeping weight off is. I think as much as overeating and craving food plays a part with weight gain, maybe our internal picture of ourselves is a part of it too. I know that even though it felt great to be a normal size, I felt very strange within myself - like I didn't know who I was anymore. Hopefully I can find a balance and get to a weight that I am healthy at, but also feel mentally comfortable at. It's so nice to see that we made it up to 7 pages this month, that's a lot of support for us all

Good morning
cj59, I was just thinking the same thing wow 7 pages. Mindset is such a big part of weight loss and keeping it off. I keep saying I need to get my head in the game. Why I don't who knows.
I hope everyone is doing good. Today is hard for my family. Today would have been Maddie's 4th birthday (my niece's daughter that was killed July 1). Today many of us are wearing pink (her favorite color) in honor and remembrance of her. Life is so unfair sometimes.
