Hello again! I just had to let you know earlier about JD as soon as his gramma sent me the message.
For the AOTD, I would use the off-white/taupe colors. I like the pops of color to come from easily changeable accessories like pillows and afghans. I don't like to paint very often . . . and I learned that taking off wallpaper is a real chore -- something I do not want to repeat. However, I still have two rooms that have wallpaper in them.
It's cloudy here again today, but the temperature is above freezing. Over the weekend, the forecast was for a temperature of 47 degrees on Tuesday. We definitely didn't make it to that yesterday.
Last night I checked out a few books on decluttering and started reading them. I really MUST change my attitude and begin getting rid of things that are not necessary. Anybody else have that issue? My family did not throw anything away unless it was totally not working -- and even then it was often stored away. I have old appliances that have been replaced, old ragged tea towels, etc. If I don't do something, I may become a hoarder. It's the goofiest thing . . . I give personalities to "things"; as if they have feelings! I actually threw away some things this morning -- not a lot, but it's a start.
Things to do . . . see y'all later! ~~Mollyann

Lucy, please take February. I hope to handle March.
Got my steps in early.
Well, the questions have made you think and that is good.
Sun trying to appear!

Cat, if you are stopping the QOTD because you don't have more ideas, just go online and Google "Question of the Day." I'm sure you will find sources.
DH just sold his little Kabota tractor. Now, I guess, we will be tractor shopping. Would really like to have a medium size with cab, power steering, and a blade. One I can drive and use if necessary.

OK, Cat, I will take February. I have no plans to be away from home that month unless we have a major winter storm predicted and I run away from it.So I will be looking for theme suggestions Friday.
I thought the QOTD was a fun type question and did not take it serious. My house has different color rooms so I guess I would have to choose a beige or something then add color with fabrics, pillows etc.
My kitchen has red walls. Not red red, I forgot what the paint was called. I have chickens and sunflowers as decor and my cabinets are off white. The living dining area has very light sorta pink. I can't remember what the paint was called. The walls go back to a time when wall paper was in and so the upper is wallpaper and lower paint. My bathroom is light blue. The front bedroom is also light blue. My bedroom has dark green walls.

I'll try again - my wifi went out while I was writing my reply. My discharge date has changed from January 21 to January 18 (this Friday). Jessica's weekend trip has been postponed, so she will be able to stay with me for awhile. The condo is pretty well ready for me to move back - tie out for Waylon so I don't have to take him outside (my neighbor has offered to do "poop patrol"), carpets cleaned, furniture moved, etc. AOTD If I had to have everything one color, I would probably go with beige tones.

Molly, I always use Goggle but sometimes Bing. I even use Safari. All of my questions came from the internet.

So, Cat, were there not hundreds (if not thousands) or ideas for the QOTD?
Had a visit with Mom today . . . it was quite a day! It included the mop-up of an almost-full bottle of Sprite that ended up under her bed. On the way home, the foggy drizzle started about 50 miles north. It wasn't freezing, so I didn't have any trouble getting home. I can hardly believe that Bible Study hasn't been cancelled tonight.
DH made a run to the nearest grocery store about 4:30 (for Silk) only to find that the parking lot was completely full. He said he made several drive-arounds, but couldn't claim a space, so he came home.
Stay safe! Sweet Dreams!

QOTD: I would choose lavender of course! And, it comes in all different shades so I wouldn't be bored....Purple, lt. lavender and darker and medium.....LOL. My DF who I used to go to Vegas with each year (but we haven't since Jim lost 2nd leg) always said when we lose our spouses we will live in a house together...Her bedroom will be dark purple and mine lavender and we will decorate everything with lavender/purple throughout the house....LOL. She's the one that bought me my lavender hose that I keep mending to keep alive.
I could try to do a QOTD.....Just you'd have to give me an email address for the person starting the thread and I would send it to them for the next day when I say goodnight here....or just add it onto my two cents before I say goodnight!
QOTD FOR TOMORROW: If you could be one character in a book - WHO would you be?
Tucking you all in now in SKY BLUE BLANKETS WITH CUMULUS CLOUDS ALL OVER...sweet dreams!
Taking Care of Me - Kathie
