Good morning and welcome to February! A new month in a new year and yet the same old crazy in the White House. He is sending very definite signals that he plans to try and invoke a national emergency. I'm definitely expecting to see him try to do that, but I don't think it will end well for him. Still it will please his crazy base.
The JA is withdrawing the US from the nuclear arms treaty with Russia, another gift wrapped in pretty paper and tied with a bow for Putin. This thing in the Oval continues to try and destroy not just the US but the entire world. Europe must be very worried and unhappy about this new development. And Republicans in Congress continue to sit on their hands and try not to incur his wrath.

KAC fits into this administration perfectly -- totally clueless and vitriolic. And yes, EW drop the Native American comments. You made a huge mistake there. Some things can't be fixed with apologies.

"Are any of you planning to watch the JA's State of the Union address on Tuesday? I don't know what I'm going to do. I usually always watch the SOTU, but I don't think that I can bear to sit there and listen to this JA lie, lie, and then lie some more all between telling us how great he is. What's the point? He isn't going to give us any real information. I do, however, want to hear Stacy Abrams Democrat response." We're going back and forth, will probably watch it for two seconds till he pizzzzzes me off. Have you ever watched him with the sound off? He just sways his body to and fro as if he is the cutest thing in the known world.....just waiting for him to hug himself.... "I love myself. I think I'm grand. When I go to movies, I hold my hand. I put my arm around my waist, And when I get fresh, I slap my face."
"I call myself on the phone
Just to see if I am home." La De Da.........

Swimming upstream and going UP THE DOWN STAIRCASE.
We listened to Howard Schults on 60 Min. The View, and Morning Joe.
I'm going to put him on my short list and keep an eye on him. Granted he needs a reality check and a better handler, but I think there is some potential there after he finishes with his baptism of fire. We shall see what we shall see.....get back to you all next year. lol

Ann, do you not worry that Schultz will siphon votes away from Democrats and yet not be able to win as an Independent thus assuring Trump a win? I have a real concern about that.

One thing about Jimmy Carter, he is a man of character. Now days in politics that seems to be a rare trait, and certainly there is not an ounce of it in the White House.

Governor Northam from Virginia is in serious trouble with this yearbook photo. It is bad, very bad. Most likely he's going to end up having to resign. As usual it's pretty hypocritical of Republicans to pounce all over this when they have been totally silent about the JA and his current blatant racism on display and being tweeted out from the White House. Still, the photo is ugly. Do we ever reach a point where we put things that happened in one's past in the past and move forward, or should we ever do that? Should something someone did 35 years ago still define them?
