This thread was started before the dawn of time by Amazons who needed to compare their stats with other Amazons. Over time it grew into a community of incredible women who try to keep their spirits in the clouds and their feet on the ground, moving toward health. Most of us start at 5'7 and go up from there, from young singles to wise and lively elders of the tribe. We welcome newcomers who are willing to be kind and share a bit of their lives.

Happy Valentine's Day dear CATs! Checking in quickly to say that nothing much is new around here. I'm just keeping my nose to the grindstone trying to churn through all the piles that have to be dealt with before my audit. I'm having dinner tonight with MM at the little neighborhood Italian restaurant where we met. It seems to have become "our" place now. This is the first V Day in a long time that I haven't dreaded!
I wish I'd had your January success pKate! Thanks for reminding us how it is done! I'm still struggling to get myself back into a good zone and settle into routines that work.
A trip to Spain sounds so lovely MCat. That's certainly a place on my list, but I'll likely have to wait a while.
Good luck with the sifting and sorting Shari. I can tantalize you and keep you motivated with our spring-time weather report!
I'm sorry to hear about your DM too Martha. Glad to know though that she will get the care she needs.
Waving to you T as you are off to school this morning.
Oh Susan, that is so so sweet that you get to share this day with someone special.
For all of you that are alone (like me) enjoy the day anyway! I just went out with DM last night & told her she was my valentine So I don't have anything planned for tonight. I'll probably just kick back & hang at home.
We sure are enjoying the warmer temps. What a relief. The 14 inches of snow is melting good.
I've got a couple of big meetings this week. It's much easier to arrange in the new building. No more trying to carry coffee up and down stairs. It's just right there.
As you can tell by my rambling I don't have much going on. lol
The scale was kind this morning even after having Chinese.
Good luck with that Audit, Susan. The Valentines dinner sounds awesome! When do you plan to get the beach house on the market?
Shari - Glad you are making headway on packing and that the DGF was a help. Exciting and scary to make such a big life change.
I say it again - hugs for Freida.
Melinda - I am with you on politics; I just cannot even stomach turning on national news any more. I am so glad they are getting the pipe in the ground and maybe lives can return to some sense of normal here.
Had to laugh at Mr Martha hogging the computer. My DH seems to do the same lately.
Hope you get caught up soon and return, T. I miss your clever words.
What happened to Nancy? I noticed when I back read the last few days that she deleted her account?
Happy belated birthday, Linda!
Anne - So good of your boss to get rid of the problem before she makes an exit.
I don't know what happened with Nancy. I'll send her a text after I post this. Enjoy one of many special V-Day celebrations, Susan. Martha- I hope Mom is adjusting to the changes. Hopefully it will eliminate some worries on your end. I've had a super tough day. Cried my eyes out to a college friend who just happened to call me to see how I was doing. I wasn't going to take the call and did. We got a giggle on the many things I can be grateful for. ;-) I completed Day 1 of WW yesterday. Kept to my points and one day at a time. In all things.
