Susi Sigh... toobad there is no way for a pastoral team to gather feedback from church members. At least you have some options.
Pam Terrific job getting everything laid out. Sure does make the upcoming week more manageable. Worth the effort.
LaDonna Nice to see you back! Sounds like you rocked that vacation.
Audrey You really are generous with your time, talents, compassion, and possessions.

Monday I am willing to KOKO as I wait for more snow. Praying all will be clear for Wednesday when I go to see my surgeon.

Oh my goodness.... Wowza... Jennifer Lopez just killed it w/ her sizzling rendition of "Heartbreak Hotel" on the Elvis special. Willie Nelson's son wailed on the guitar.

June, have a great day!
Ann, praying the snow passes around you.
Susi, if you church hunt, you will know when you find it. Let the Spirit lead you.
I am willing to be willing, aware and drinking my water. We had a fell like temp higher than our temp today. RAH! RAH! RAH!

Ann, i hope you get a good report Wednesday and have good driving weather. June, I saw JLo on the Grammys. She has amazing energy.
Today the handyman comes at 9 a.m. to begin installing new canned lighting in our kitchen eating area and computer room. The lighting has never been good and now it is 30 years later... Two ladies are coming for an amenities committee meeting. I want to come up with recommendations for next year regarding food, cards and visits. We are beginning to be asked to do too much. I will make barbecue chicken chili when the ladies leave and stay home the rest of the day. Plan to track everything and drink water with my meals.

Ann Hope the weather cooperates for you. I would hate for you to go through another count down.
Bee j Any positive break in the winter's cold is a plus! Willingness is a great starting point for any day.
Audrey You have a busy morning ahead. Hope that you can help reign in the expectations and duties of the amenities committee.
JLo, hands down, was the only performer to really channel that "it" quality that Elvis possessed. I did, however, enjoy the special. Brought back a lot of good memories. Joan and I watched the '68 comeback. Years later R & I saw his black leather outfit at the Rock n Roll museum in Cleveland.

Ann Glad that you slept well. Hope that any odd dreams faded quickly. Hope that the snowfall was light. We awoke to icy surfaces. R had to go to work, but I do not. Or at least my work is class preparation & grading. I can accomplish both on my couch.

Ann - Praying for the snow to disappear before Wednesday. Hate odd dreams. Welcome back LaDonna! Glad you had a good time and were mostly OP. Win-win! June - Working from the couch sounds good. What's going on with R's job these days? You haven't mentioned it in a very long time. Bee - I know. That's how I found this church nearly 20 years ago. But times are changing and I need to change with them. And it's my fault for drifting away since Kathy died. Another pretty busy day for you Audrey. Seems everyone just wants a little more and a little more until it becomes crazy. May have to go to on demand to watch the Elvis special. I was watching Good Witch. It's very dreary but at least the rain stopped before we walked the dogs and fed the ferals. I'm going to try to take a nap before the gym. I'll make a large veggie frittata for breakfasts this week. I'll break it up one day with ricotta stuffed french toast with blueberry compote. Making fajitas tonight, crab cakes tomorrow and for lunch on Wednesday. After that, dinners will be driven by my brother. Thinking seafood restaurant Thursday night with old friends. Friday will be Italian with the cousins before the concert. Saturday will be up in the air. He may fly down to SC with a friend or I will be cooking baby back ribs and we will play cards.

My day is all planned and tracked. Easy peasy as we are having lo pot roast for supper. Will have to look into that Elvis special myself. Thanks for the thumbs up, June.
Your meals all sound great, Susi. Enjoy cooking and your time with friends and family.
Our snow wasn't bad....3" I just hope we don't get the freezing rain.
Take care, all!

Susi & Ann The special includedmany clips of the 1968 comeback, various musicians performing his songs, duets, and so on. I also liked the tribute to Elvis' love of gospel. Always felt that he gave voice to his heart in his gospel music. In my book, it is definitely worth watching OnDemand.
Ann Yes, three inches is managble. Will also pray that your area does not get hit w/ freezing rain.
Susi Enjoy your visit with your brother. Bet that you all will be sharing some stories of childhood adventures -- misadventures. Love your plan for a breakfast frittata as an easy, go-to breakfast. Lucky that you live where fresh, affordable seafood is available.
R's situation is in a state of great flux. Really can not make any plans since there are many unknowns. The best case scenarios would be that the company only leases part of the building and retains R & his coworker to continue on. Who knows... I do not. The head of N Am. Division does not. Right now I am worried about R's coworker doing something stupid to drag down himself and Mr. Nice Guy, R. But I have said what I could say on the matter. R will handle it how he handles it.
Since I do not know what is next, I have not shared. I do not want to give this accelerating state of limbo any more energy that it is already pulling on its own. Working to keep myself and my DH grounded.

Susi I should also say that I am doing better than I would have done lat year or even six months ago. And that is a good thing since I do not like the unknown.

June also not a fan of the great unknown. You have a good grasp on it and attitude.
Elvis and his gospel music is my favorite.
