My free lunch is today. Actually I got the guys gift cards for their birthday/Christmas and got two $20 refund cards for my purchase. I have been debating. DH wants a baresa sandwich which is prosciutto and buratta on a soft roll with sun dried tomatoes. Either I get turkey or eat at home and buy pasta with the rest of the card. I always eat the whole baresa and it is a day's worth of points. So I can possibly do turkey though I try to avoid sandwiches. Nothing is low cal at an Italian deli They have a wonderful case of homemade gnocchi and ravioli and I think they are now doing fresh pasta. This is in addition to the huge assortment of wine and Italian food products. samsitaliandeli.com Luckily they are on the other side of town so I can't just pop in for something or it could be a very bad habit. My massage therapist is running another special on multiple treatments for a reduced price. He is extremely good so I may see him more often.

Becky, it is windy here, too and cold as all get out! I just got back in from lunch and can not get warmed up. I have my little desk heater running full blast. The temps have dropped since this morning and it is raining to boot. I ended up having a turkey sandwich on wheat and some sun chips. DS wanted to go to the Valley Cafe which is a favorite of his. I' d rather have had the baked potato and chili but wanted DS to be happy It was more about us spending a little time together. Audrey the pasta place sounds good but pasta is something I rarely eat because I don't know when to stop. Its best if I leave it alone. The massages sound nice. I've never had one. Susi, hope all is well!

LaDonna The wind here isn't as bad as it has been the last few days. However it's 41(cold for Central TX)and being damp it makes it feel colder.I am glad you enjoyed lunch with your DS and I hope you can get warm.

Becky Ha ha ha....when it hits 41 in NE OH, locals shed their coats, hats, gloves, boots, and even boots. I kid you not-- I see students wearing tees, nylon gym short and flip flops. But, yes, that is cold for central TX.
Will try to CBL, R is ready for our panaramic dental X-rays. They are 100% covered under our dental insurance. So while we have it, we are getting them!

Chilly and snow is not melting. I didn’t make it to my salon. Keeping warm here at home and getting laundry done. Meals are planned and will be tracked. Getting in my liquids and steps are adding up. No blue sky today, but I’m continuing to aim for blue. Have a great day everyone.

I've managed to at least read everything. Ann - Good luck tomorrow! I'll try and come back tonight. After that, the world will revolve around work and our brother. Some of the plans are weather driven and tomorrow isn't looking good. Glad he is flying in before it starts. Hopefully there are no delays from Denver.

LaDonna Agreed-- the visit w/ your DS was more important than the food options. Love that you could depend time w/ him.
Ann You are welcome! TOmorrow we will be with you in spirit!
PAm This whacky weather does encourage "nesting instincts." I did not leave the house at all on Sunday. Susi Hope that your brother arrives safely. Good that you can spend time together regardless what the weather brings.
Heading over to mom & dad's since I couldn't stop in the afternoon. will try to CBL.

I've enjoyed a very low key day. Plenty of R&R.
Sleep well, all!
