DotRen, sunrose49, irisinnia, cj59, gmom, good morning! I wanted to share something I found funny. Ok I do low-carb more than straight up WW, and I'm a member of several low-carb and keto facebook groups. There's been a trend by some new low-carbers to do low carb and low fat (I mean, really low). So I suggested that, if someone was going to do low carb AND low fat, they should just do WW and stop calling it keto. I got booted from the group lol. I was serious and not being a smart-ass, but apparently WW is taboo haha. (even if that's what they were promoting by the food choices).

Good morning
dotren, too funny you got kicked off the group. I have never had a duck egg. Glad you got some good things at the farmers market.
gmom, welcome to the group. It's always nice to have new people join us.
cj59, I should start cleaning more! Glad you are doing good.
irisinnia, sorry about the scale, but hey it is at least moving in the right direction. Hang in there.
Went to my WW workshop yesterday and Saturday. Both were good. Did not meet my step goal this weekend, but I did walk. The sun is out so need to get out and walk and maybe do some yard work.

Thanks for the welcome Dotren, getting kicked out of the group is kind of funny, but your suggestion makes total sense to me LOL. I hope everyone is having a great day!

Hello Everyone! And thank you all for your support when I was being grumpy about my WI. Great advice and I'm feeling stronger and back on track! gmom, Welcome to the group! I hope you have success with online. I lost 15 lbs online before I ever step foot in a meeting, so it can be done! Good luck on your journey! sunrose49, Glad you made it to your workshops and liked them. Enjoy the sun! DotRen, I can't believe they kicked you out! lol Well, as Agatha Christie says "Good advice is always certain to be ignored, but that's no reason not to give it." cj59, I never thought of the time change as a dieting bonus, but you're right! Glad to hear you're doing so well. Keeping busy is probably one of the most overlooked ways to keep overeating in check. Thanks for sharing! I'm happy that I'm still on plan. I could've easily quit, as I have done several times before, but every little loss is closer to where I want to be, so onward and downward! I am working on my arms again today, and meal planning for the week. My birthday is on Friday and cake is on the menu, so I want to make sure I have a fruit salad for breakfast, and a light lunch so that dinner/cake won't break the bank. And if it does, I can always get back on track Saturday morning. I hope everyone is having a Marvelous Monday! Good luck on your journeys!

Hello Everyone
DotRen - Your life is so interesting Seriously though, you made a good point.
sunrose - Glad you enjoyed your meetings and hope you get out to walk.
Sadly I haven't even started doing any actual cleaning in the house, I'm still going through everything and throwing out stuff, donating good stuff, and figuring out how to keep the other stuff After that I'll hopefully start some serious cleaning.
gmom - Hope you having a good on plan day.
irisinnia - I'm glad to hear you are still on plan and it sounds like you've made a good plan for your birthday and enjoying some cake while still eating within your program. I think that's really a key to success with any eating plan, so good for you.
I'm doing pretty good I guess. There isn't much in the house I can overeat, so I'm mostly eating healthy. I haven't been tracking my actual points, but I have still been writing down all my food. And I've been getting in my steps.
I'll be so glad to finish with this decluterring project. I've been working on it since January and I hope to be done by the end of March. I've carried so many bags of trash out of the house and donated a lot too. Once I'm done, I want to make up an inventory of what is left in the house. A lot of the things left were my parents belongings and so I need to go through them with family members to decide what to keep. I have a bunch of shredding to do too, I try to work on some each day. This whole process has really taught me to keep on top of clutter and paperwork.
Take care everyone!

cj59, my life is boring lol I'm decluttering and spring cleaning a bit, too. Our little city has "heavy trash" pick up once a month, so I use that week to get rid of crap lol. irisinnia, happy early birthday and enjoy that cake! gmom, apparently some people can't deal with logic haha. sunrose49, enjoy the sunshine!

DotRen - No, my life is boring Good luck with the decluttering and spring cleaning. It helped me to have a date for the donation pickup, it motivates you to get things together. It's a pretty day here, sunny and in the 40s. I went out earlier and took care of a bunch of errands. Unfortunately I stopped for fast food for my lunch. It's not on my plan, but I'm going to enjoy it and move on Hope everyone else is doing well on their plans and having a good day!

Hello! DotRen, Thank you, I will! My birthday is the first of "birthday season". My daughter's is two weeks later, my son's is in early May and then my husband in June. But that's my slogan for PointsPlus: Because birthday cake happens! That's nice that you can get rid of the heavy trash once a month. Isn't the house so much nicer after a good declutter and clean? I hope you enjoy it when it's finished! cj59, Thank you! I'm glad to hear that you're doing well too. It sounds like you're making incredible progress on your decluttering project. I've always wanted to inventory my house, but I'm saving that project for when my kids are both in school. I'm sure you will be thrilled when it's all done! Everything is going great on my weight loss journey! I'm super busy. Had a doctor appointment today, have people coming to dig up our property tomorrow to see if they can find the main water line, and DD's dance class on Thursday. I didn't get to meal planning this week so I'm flying in the blind, but I bought a huge bag of salad so I think I will survive. I really want to pull back and reevaluate what I'm meal planning. My kids are super picky. They're both health nuts and I think DD is a vegetarian. So we'll make them macaroni or buy them pizza and they barely touch it, which leaves me confused and eating macaroni and pizza. So I want to build a menu from the ground up. Start with fruits and vegetables, rolls for DD and soup for DS, and go from there. Have a Terrific Tuesday! Keep up all your good work!

Irsinnia, I really just cook for myself as I'm an empty nester and my husband works 2nd shift, but I still struggle with meal planning. Good luck figuring it out.
CJ59, I hope you thoroughly enjoyed your fast food meal.
Dotren, I'm trying to stay on the lower end with carbs too. I just feel better when I do. I've lost weight with extreme low carb, but I have to except the fact I will not keep it off because it will never be a lifestyle for me.
I hope everyone is having a great week.

gmom, I'm the same way - I feel better if I avoid processed carbs especially. I do eat a lot of veggies, but I also use olive oil, full fat mayo(I make my own a lot of the time lol), and Kerrygold butter - but not in huge amounts.

Good morning
My niece got me hooked up on the computer so I can check in. I am watching the dogs and cat while they go away for the weekend.
I had a bad day yesterday with yummy pizza. Did not get steps in either. But waters were good.

Crazy weather here on the Texas coast... 80 yesterday, in the low 50s today and overcast. We almost always get a final blue-northern a little before Easter, so I expect a couple more of these until then.
May try the bigger farmers market/craft show tomorrow. Not sure yet because I really am not fond of "crafty" things and it looked like almost all of the vendors they listed do soaps, essential oils, crafts like pillows, etc. I'm so sensitive to scents that it's hard for me to even go down the laundry soap isle at stores lol.

The weather has been crazy in Michigan too. Yesterday it was 60 and pouring rain, today is spitting snow.
I finished my first week back on plan. I was a little high on points today due to pizza at work and subway with my granddaughter after work, but I stayed within my leftover weeklies. I decided for now not to use my activity points. I'm still not to sure about the zero points food.
I hope everyone's weekend is off to a great start.
